Wests Tigers Sack Jason Taylor - OFFICIAL..

Christmas has come early!

Part of me actually hopes he remains for the rest of the season, just to prove that the board made the wrong decision and the way the past year has unfolded, needs to be justified with the bare truth. Here are our next games, surely the nail will be driven into the coffin and glued shut:

Rd 4 Storm
Rd 5 Dragons
Rd 6 Cowboys
Rd 7 Eels
Rd 8 Bulldogs
Rd 9 Sharks
Rd 10 Rabbitohs
Rd 11 Broncos
BYE

That's 8 straight losses I see. Including the last 2\. Need to flog the horse whilst it's down to make change :deadhorse:

Nah ….keep him for 1 more week ...
Sack the imposter at 1/2 time at Leichhardt !

Have Farah present him with his severance cheque !

After what he has dished up it won't be a cheque, it will be an invoice.

I know it's Rothfield, but he was just on FOX and seemed pretty sure, said what I have said all along, Taylor is a good assistant coach, not a head coach.

It's a chook raffle our club.
After 3 rounds they looking to sack him to appease some overrated kids who want another boss.
Who gets sacked on a 1-2 record?

If they sack him I welcome it, I want to see these kids sink our club back into the boys club it always was.
Our "big 4" know the gig was up and they are going to be separated by Taylor. He wasn't going to keep them all next season.
A new coach won't turn us around this season.

Players need to look at themselves. Ask themselves why they can't tackle.

Just sack him now and be done with it, should rename him to Jason "I coach 35 min only' Taylor)

The team sucks, has scored one Intercept try in the last 200 mins of game time.
team can't tackle
team can't kick
Team can't hold the ball
Team can't stop letting more then 2 trys in 5 mins before halftime including a guy with a Torn ACL.

Teams a joke and wooden spoon bound

we will beat the storm this week then lose to the dragons by 40, that is the tigers in a nutshell.

Is it too late to get Tim Sheens back? I feel like one of those old East Germans nostalgic for the old days!

I would prefer Cleary or Toovey , but if not them or another hard nose, I'd be happy with Payten.
There's been a lot of good coming out of Townsville about Payten and Green has given him wraps since he went there.
I think any opposition is just sour grapes from when he was here before, I couldn't care less if he wanted Taylors job. In sure now that a lot would have been happier if he HAD got it.. We certainly wouldn't be any worse than we already are. Just like in another case someone was blamed for all our woes but the woes are still here and worse.

Its Cleary or nothing for me. Not sure why the infatuation with Toovey after the way he was dumped at Manly, supposedly driven by the players. Payten has Trent Barrett written all over him. If you sack a coach, the idea is to bring in somebody better. And no one can say that Payten is a better coach than Taylor. All the Taylor haters will say "anyone is better than Taylor". Wrong, there is always someone worse out there. If the club goes with Todd you might find that out the hard way.

1-2 record, where they have been smashed, every loss Taylor gets is a smashing. the team has no 'good losses' which is why this forum blows up in meltdown all the time, at least with Sheens teams, we would play good in most games and have many heartbreaking losses, this team gets smashed by 30+ every loss.

It's the coach, when a team without fail every week since he has been coach gives up a friggin 1 or 2 trys at the 35 min mark before halfitme EVERY SINGLE WEEK it is a mental thing and that comes down the coaching.

Will this change anything in the long run?
Theres multiple issues around the club, do they think getting rid of one bloke will change everything?

This is correct…The club has massive issues and to start with is money...we simply dont have the money to implement and run a top notch football department that is going to attract the players needed to be a force....the current NRL squad is full on NRL impostors (and I include the big 4 in this)...but what marquee player would want to join the WT, whilst the joint is in a mess..?.Look at Newcastle, no matter how much money they throw at a player, most dont want to go near the joint...and we are no different.

At least JT tried something....but it hasn't worked..

Is it time to call the whole thing "mission impossible"?

Taylor needs to go for sure and certain, but I believe he did the right thing when he got rid of Farah.

This is true. Good post.

lol… A New Coach will fix us?!

Looks like another 3 years of "[coach] inherited this squad" from our board etc.

Our problem is Structure & Stock… Nothing will change without NEW Stock!
