The bit that got me was that Buckets negotiated Farah's exit with a farewell at Liechhardt, Farah plays his 250th and moves on at years end (2016). Pascoe agrees everyone is happy, so JT drops him so that can't happen, typical JT and exactly why I never liked the bloke

And thats when he lost the shed in my opinon.

And his ego wouldn't let him back down, cost him his job in the end, in my opinion his ego and poor man manager skills was always gonna be his undoing. I have said this since we hired the bloke, took longer than I hoped but we got there in the end. Can't wait for sunday now, and for the coach to be announced.

Tried to play hard ball Coach while the players had other things in mind.

I maintain anyone who did support him prior to that most definitely would have really questioned his motives.Unlike some who have suggested that Farah was unliked by the players I dont think there is any evidence to support that.
Lawrence and Woodsy both turned up to support him when he was dropped and Sue and ET publically spoke about his positive influence on the playing group.
It was a low act and damaged our club and its reputation.

Terrific headline. Very apt.

I'd agree with you if Paul wasn't such a whiney [automatically edited].
Shows me is spineless. He had ample time to say it to his face.
Read the article, it's a complete butthurt meltdown.

Ha! Butthurt meltdown! Hilarious

WOW!! The players have sent the last 3 coaches packing.

Have they? Not these same players.

Tim Sheens: Packed by entire team for letting Chris H and Beau R go (and considering Chris H's performance at the Sharks I have to agree. Beau was hitting form as a winger).

Mick Potter: Gordon Tallis is the idiot responsible, seriously if he did to the dogs what he did to the tigers that guy would have a flare up his arse by now. He stuffed up Robbie and put him on the spot. No Robbie is a player and maybe while he should know better, he is a damn player not a media manager. I totally understand Wayne Bennett saying NO to interviews. From that point Mick was doomed. Not the players fault.

Jason Taylor: 4 different players have to think about their career next year. Their Game theory plan of all signing with the one agent is either a greedy mastermind from the 4 or a genuine desire to play here together…. I can't tell which. I am just glad that Woods got added to that group because I wouldn't want teddy, Moses and Brooks forcing out Woods over cap pressure.

So if they are greedy would they want Taylor out like this? No Taylor is not key to them milking it, he is rather irrelevant. If you are for the club and are planning to stay for say 3-8 years. Then I could see them saying "I don't like X" or "I like X". If Taylor was making a growing env. for them they would want him, if he is making the Tigers seem worse then it was under Sheens or Potter, then I can see why they would want him gone.

Successful coaches dont get sacked. Poor results get coaches sacked and players are just ss likely to wear the brunt of that.

Got a laugh out of this and look who liked the post

Reflects poorly on Sirro and RF as childish tools just as much as it ridicules JT I'd say. Grown men should probably stay away from Twitter, leave it for teenybopper chicks IMO.
Sirro has to ask himself honestly whether or not he would have liked to have played alongside someone who possessed the same qualities as Sirro Jnr- lazy, halfarsed bludger who shirked the hard stuff and left that dirty work for his teammates to do. He would find the answer pretty quick if he was brutally honest with himself.
Geez some blokes who were hard men on the footy field can sure quickly turn into bitchy schoolgirls off it. It's embarrassing really.

It's sad. Siro played 60 odd games for us and never showed anything. What was Taylor supposed to do. If there's only one goof thing Taylor achieved while he was here, it was sending that clown on his merry way.

Our players don't ever wear the brunt of anything. Zero accountability.
They just get their coaches sacked when the blowtorch gets pointed at their bellies, that way they can trot out another few years worth of excuses such as " we are still learning (insert coach) playing style". Our players are soft as diarrhoea with about the same level of substance.

Terrible coach and glad he's gone. Hopefully we can snag cleary and get him in asap. Give him time to sift through the rubble and see what's salvageable.

that instant when you realise Showpony Woods, Brooks and Moses will be eating up most of our cap for the next few years.

I am only up to page 12 so hope not repeating someone. I don't think those 3 players should be eating up much of our cap. Drop Brooks no matter what it costs to do so in terms of losing the other players. Pay Woods and Moses only average pay until they both improve. Woods by getting back on side quicker and being more responsible and Moses by actually attacking the line like he used to last year.

It is better to have rookies losing badly than well paid players because if rookies then eventually we will have saved up the cash to buy better players. At least rookies may appreciate being in the team.

Read it for yourself.
He is bitter for the Brian Smith report that got him sacked and is dirty that JT and Moss sacked him.
The article touches on Curtis thinking it was an attack on his family..
It's just pathetic to read coming from a man I respected once upon a time.

He lost the shed when he introduced his Taylorball crap.

He lost me very quickly with that.

Was never convinced after that.

Still though, I don't want responsibility all on the coach.

Players deserve to be under the microscope. I would be happy to see half the list punted.

It was all about defence for me. His mantra was to improve our defence and he failed miserably. To finish second last in defence last year and to go backwards is insane. The fact that players like Naiqama get selected no matter what meant players were cruising under him and knew they would play next week. The fact that Lovett played NRL again showed the players that again they would not be held accountble for what they do.

Now that the coach has been held accountable time for the players to be held accountable aswell. Peter sterling today said they dont deserve to be called the big four. Woods and tedesco yes, but the halves dont deserve that title. I reckon lets blood these youngsters such as LIDDLE , marsters, tatola, felise, suli.. even if we have to right off this year.
