Just saw Benny Elias on NRL 360

Please gag him he is divisive and pulling this club apart. He blames the West Magpies board members as the problem to all the issues. He has dissolved all Balmain responsibility of all decisions over the past few years.

He is technically correct.
Balmain side of the Jv has no votes on the board.
All decisions are made by Wests and the NRL appointed board members.

I think you missed Lidcombe Magpies point. It is almost entirely Bennys fault that Balmain has no votes on the board. It was Benny that was responsible for the horrific Rozelle Village disaster which has been respoonsible for all of Balmains financial woes and therefore losing their votes on the board.

LOL…the irony wasnt lost on me.
Someone should tell him solariums arent good for you these days, the eye & cheek lift though has taken 10 years off him.
Dont know why I watch that trash....I swear Rottfield was making it up as he was going along, like a kid telling porkies to his mates and getting encouragement from their interest...hes a sad mofo

Apart from backdoor Benny and his rant…..
The best bit of irony from Rothfield the drunken idiot was when he mentioned how Pascoe wanted the CEO job at Penrith, but was overlooked by Gus Gould as he knows talent! So in effect, the Tigers got "second best or leftovers". He forgot to mention that Gould then appointed his heir apparent. Wait for it. Corey Payne.....who lasted 3 months... good call Gus you idiot. Better call Rothfield you drunken imbecile.

The spoon is safely ours.
Webster will be told what to do, not giving the orders.

Webster is a very good coach way better than Jason Faylor. God man goes well you will be surprised.

It stems from David Smith appointing Go and our lack of footy know how. Our management and board have no footy smarts and the media are all over it. I don't like buzz he and benny are poor human beings but we are bad let's face it. They had a good idea to get Wayne Pearce in as Chair which, would add credibility to the Tigers and give Balmain a bit more of a presence.

We need a Hassler, Bellamy type coach who can run the whole footy operation to cover up these lightweights in leadership and on the board.

So does Taylor get offered welfare support from the NRL and the tigers or is that just reserved for idiot players?

The bit that got me was that Buckets negotiated Farah's exit with a farewell at Liechhardt, Farah plays his 250th and moves on at years end (2016). Pascoe agrees everyone is happy, so JT drops him so that can't happen, typical JT and exactly why I never liked the bloke

If true, thatbwas silly.

But thats Rothfields version. Be careful who you rely on for facts.

Just curious, but do you really believe JT was the sole person behind Farah's exit?

You are right, but he put it out there on national TV, so JT could sue if it is BS.

I get no joy out of this - frustration yes. I have no doubt JT wanted to achieve but he seemed to lose sight of what he was employed to do . No winners out of this just two wasted years and more mess to mop up. It would be nice if this club could get something right this time.

Yeah have to agree with your sentiments there, Telltails. No winners here at all, they will just have to start all over again and again and again and again…

Lol what?

Can you enlighten me please,I don't understand the tweet..l

Maybe insinuating Craigs wife talked him out of coaching here a few years back.

Yeah that's how I took it too, that she talked him into taking the Melbourne gig.

Although the story I heard was that back then Bellamy already knew Tigers were a dysfunctional group and wasn't interested in that nonsense. Bellamy and Ian Millward if I remember correctly, both turned it down and we ended up with Sheens who was languishing post-Cowboys.

Millward either shot himself in the foot or did himself a favour, because he's only ever had NRL assistant coach gigs since then, plus stints in ESL. But maybe not getting the Tigers head role means he's still around to potentially get a future head role, rather than taking the Tigers job and committing career suicide.

BUT I would say a truly good coach can work with any side, any conditions, adapt to what they have. If you are really that good, Bennett-style, go to a club that struggles and make them better. I'm not so impressed with a side like Broncos when you have that kind of perpetual talent and money stream to work with.

No but he let his ego overide his common sense and handled it really really bad.

Rothfielld reminded me of a child making it up as he went along…cringeworthy stuff, 360 is NRLs ACA - garbage

No i think it was an orchestrated effort from the club to force him to leave for monetry reasons.
Taylor was the face of it though and his vindictive attitude tells me that the story on 360 would not be far from the mark. Explains Farahs reaction as well which seemed surprised.
