Wests Tigers set to part ways with Mick Potter ??

The most amusing thing about the player revolt ..HELLO These players are in a team that is running second last ,talk about losers.

and you guys are trying to tell me that the eels are less table then us… this is as bad as th eels. should sack him now that way we will win tomorrow night and have a honeymoon period, hey everyone says they win because of a new coach first week

So the board has to discuss and agree on the new structure at their August board meeting.
We could still be none the wiser going into September October assuming they dont agree ….... and the odds are they wont agree ................ no wonder no one wants to come here.

Just because we win tomorrow is only going to delay the pain.

The most **favourable** of these options is to work with Mick to develop a coaching structure and provide the personnel the club needs to create a consistent winning attitude. This is a key priority for club CEO Grant Mayer.

That does it for me. **There is still a chance that he can go**. Will rarely watch the Tigers next year me thinks if they got rid of him. :brick:

I disagree.
By dumping three of the support staff put in place by Sheens (and thereby allowing Potter to choose the replacements) they have already put their cards on the table.

It's a possibility that Mayer is producing an open ended statement to cater for all possible scenarios.

It's very likely that Potter will stay on, but on the off chance something better comes along they produce this cryptic statement which covers them each way?

After reading that again it says to me that either…

1\. potter stays & chooses his own staff for next year or

2\. Potter & certain support staff have until the end of August to save their job

Hoping its option 1.

I have a suspicion that Farah is leading the charge.

In the front line at least? But I think a few of his mates may have just bit the dust…

Farah and the team have no foot to stand on , maybe if the team was showing some fight but they seem to be acting like a bunch of spoilt brats which is doing no one any favours

Interview with Mick Potter

First time I've really seen him show that kind of emotion. Danny Weidler was a bit in his face.

if there is a push to promote payten,i'm thinking payten is made an assistant and head coach in waiting.
i also wonder if folkes has been approached for a role at the club.
