I think that advantage is nullified with Mbye out to be honest - he had been doing a decent job at 6 and offers more with the ball than Walters. Hope we aim up tomorrow - need to stick with the Eels early as they're flat track bullies.

Merely pointing out that the collisions in the game of netball might be more to Luke’s liking.

Hopefully Walters can do a job in defence because I don't think he'll do too much with the ball in hand. What he needs to ensure at all times is that he competes out there.

Can't help but feel the same way.
It's nothing against Billy, as I agree that he brings energy. But am more concerned if it sets the team's progress back in any way due to his inexperience and absence from the team.
Feels like we've been gradually growing and the pay-off from Brooks, Mbye and Liddle combining has positively influenced our direction and attack.
I know all games are critical but this game feels moreso...especially as it's the game we always seem to fall short in.. and it can help set the tone for the rest of our season.

Am hoping Laurie, Luciano and Doueihi can lift their games to another level (hope everyone does really), as this could be vital in helping us control momentum.
Have strong faith in our forward pack though.

I just hope our forward pack can keep up with Parra’s. Junior Paulo scares me

I think Billy will be ok. His defence is normally sound. In attack, he just needs to not overplay his hand, his role is to straighten the attack and set up his outside man. He has a good right foot step and can rely a bit too much on it which will stifle our attack - especially near the line.

Who would have thought 6 weeks ago that losing Mbye would kill our chances. Such as the role he’s played the last few weeks. As for Walters, might as well go out there with a mannequin. We’ll get the same level of output.
