Watched the NYC game on Fathers Day with the Father in Law Newcastle v Saints

He didn't stand out

They are second tier contract players, are you never happy.

Was neither happy or unhappy 851

Was just saying he didn't stand out

Surprised he doesn't have a 2 minute you tube video like just about every other NYC player

Someone posted he was big head,if so he would surely have one,if not then the info is probably bs.
His size alone is impressive, but his international selection has me a little excited about how good he can be.

Well yes , his size is impressive especially when you see he is 8 inches taller than Naiqama

Well consider we already have Heleta who was named in the junior kiwis as a centre, and no we have the other kiwiscentre too. As well as the best schoolboy centre from 2013\. Some potential there.

Austin and Naiqama both on second tier contracts though? There goes our 2nd tier cap again…! Get rid of dead wood and give these boys top tier contracts!

Naiqama continues the line of signing midgets. At least this other fellow is of reasonable size. Good Luck I suppose they are on second tier contracts but you know they will get a run because we always have bad run of injuries each year. hope our luck changes next year.

Size dosent make a footballer .two average signings so far .we got rid of 3 wingers ,now we sign two fringe first graders at best .back rowers and centres are what we need .wingers are easily found when the inside men get the ball to them .i can't wait to see milkys side with both making the starting line up

Yeah size doesn't matter 1/4

What happens when they isolate Naiqama with Daniel Tupou with a high ball

Naiqama is 170 cm

Tupou is almost 200 cm

Nothing wrong with small backs. As a rule they are sharper, faster and less lazy than the bigger backs. For example look at how well the Warriors' Johnson plays at fullback. Also check on the size of Benji Marshall in his debut first grade game.

So we would defend sides for 5 tackles and then they would just bomb us to oblivion

Simple. Naiqama lets the winger take it…!

And when they target him with the chip bombs that they use now and the winger is 15 metres away ??

He might not be as tall as some but he's got good hands, he's got speed and from previous games i've seen him play in, he never stops trying , doesn't give up. It takes more than height to make a good player. A good signing for the club.

It's the fullback's job to take as many of the bombs as possible. Naquama is a centre, Tedesco is our fullback. Also Naquama is much faster and holds onto a pass than Lawrence.

Gee Happy…Niaqama has been signed for 1 year on a 2nd tier contract....given our injury rate he's a big chance of seeing FG if he fires great if he's a dud no big deal...
