Wests Tigers sign Blair, Reddy and Bell

I don't mind the new signings but I thought we would go well this year. Hope they haven't written off 2011.

Blair is a bigger purchase to the club than Ellis

I like the positivity of your post but this comment I simply cannot agree with. From what I have seen Ellis > Blair.

I hope your right but I doubt Blair will have the same impact as Ellis.

But because its been known for a while it has been drawn out over a period of time meaning MORE exposure in TV and newspapers.
And everybody knows that he has now officially signed for us, I've seen it mentioned in all major news sources. - job done.

Even though he is putting a downer on a postive thing, Ink does have a point. By the time the Tigers "officially" announced Blair, everybody new and didnt care. But maybe it was just one of those things that couldnt be helped….......with all the negotiating that obviously went on with a number of players, maybe they had no choice but to wait. Too many leaks.

And those hoping for Gordon are dreaming, theres just no way we are signing him.

I'd back Vidot to be one signing.

it was interesting to hear that Gordon is only on 160k with 2yrs remaining….. id be filthy and trying to break my contract too

I think the signings are good..but what's important for the remainder of this year is to rally around Gibbs and Payton and make the boys lift for them..we need the players who are departing this year to give us 110 percent going into the finals and not thinking about next year..that will be the end of the tigers if they do.

How about a big fast winger (though injured) scored the best gf try ever in 2005?

Does John Grant satisfy you Bhall?????

I watched Bell play strongly today against the vile Manly - looks as if we've got ourselves a real Goer! He's a big man, popped up a very nice pass for a Penrith try and didn't take a backward step in the hard stuff. Well done!

Next to pedro he is a big man and pretty moblie, thought he played well, happy to have him on board next year.Does the little things well.

besides his awesome effort in that try another thing that impressed me was during a moment when penrith were defending their line.
he'd been on the field for a while so wasn't fresh when he made a tackle near one side line, two tackles later he was making tackles 10 metres in on the other side. great commitment.
