My thoughts..

Blair - great signing. Will be an upgrade on the role that Payten has done over the last few years being a good ball playing forward but also having the ability to punch holes through the line and who will tighten up our defence around the ruck. Also extremely good at slowing the play the ball down on opposition.

Reddy - Good signing who will fill a hole in the back line whether it be wing, centre or fullback. Very good defensively and positionally. Not a noted speedster but seems to find the try line well enough. Would rate as an upgrade on Ryan, Brown and Daniella.

Bell - Unsure on this one and dont want to bag the guy before he even get here though he has never really impressed me whilst at Penrith. Seems to have an error in him often and gives away silly penalties. I would hope that he would be a depth signing on not much coin. Not expecting great things but happy to be proven wrong.

YAHOOOOOOOOOO

Some postive news for once for the club… Lets lift boys and let me get my COWBOY CRUSHERS shirt out.

Very, VERY excited about Blair and Reddy, don't know much about Bell but willing to give him a chance

I'll await further divisions in the camp to come to the surface now, now that we have signed a plodder like Bell. What a waste of our salary cap

Wests Tigers has today announced the signing of NZ Test forward Adam Blair on a four year deal commencing in 2012.

Rated as one of the world’s best forwards, Blair has already played 22 Test matches for New Zealand and played in three Grand Finals for the Melbourne Storm over the past five years.

A player with terrific ball skills and strong defence, Blair has played 114 NRL matches.

Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said the Club was delighted to have secured the services of Blair.

“Adam is a world class forward who has been a key member of the very successful Storm side in recent years,” Humphreys said.

“His experience, leadership and professionalism will be great assets to our Club.

Humphreys forgot to add the following:

"In addition, whilst the 4 year contract appears long term, we can release him at any time in case we stuff up our cap or discover a junior goldmine and need to free up room under the cap."

No offense alf but bells numbers are no worse then Gibbs or galloways. He will be a good partner for Keith

I bet he's on less than half of what Gibbs was getting paid. That is the point.

I will wait until he plays a few games for us before I cast a judgement. I thought Utai was a crap signing and a waste of money, look how that turned out.

Do you know who the last prop we signed was before Jason Cayless? Galloway and O'Hara in 2006.

It is about time we signed a prop.
