Andrew Johns had some good things to say about him as well. Being at the club he mentioned how they havent been sure where to play him, centre, back row, front row but he felt pretty strongly he is a centre.

As i said earlier i agree with him, he is one the better centre prospects in the game.

He went okay last night In only his third appearance in the top grade and opposite a decent centre as well. Obviously seen as better than our similar current players that have been left languishing in NSW Cup. Let us hope he rekindles his younger talent with WT.

Last night he was on the bench expecting to play perhaps 20 minutes as an interchange back rower. As happened last week due to injury he had to fill in at centre.

Some of our guys most notably Lovett just cant handle this kind of disruption.

I can see why Chee Kam has made the move to the WT's. Much better prospects in cracking a NRL starting spot in the centres or second row at the WT's than trying to displace Jamie Lyon or Steve Matai at Manly.

I reckon I could give you a list of at least 50+ players who played Union before switching to League at a junior level

Out of those 50+ players, how many played Super XV or test rugby before switching to the NRL and who were they?

They don't often come this way any more after they have made it cause it is a pay cut to try a foreign game.

Blokes like Giteau or George Smith would have been s sensation at league, not to mention just about every all black of the last decade .

The thinking that rugby guys aren't as good as league guys is just wrong.

From the limited games I've seen Chee Kam play, he looks to be raw but has plenty of power and talent. There's definitely plenty to work with. Who knows whether he'll work out but I think he's a good signing on a needs v risk v reward basis.
