When Cory Thompson was signed everyone thought that he was signed as a ISP nuffies.
Same as Maha Finau.
You never know how PM is going to turn out until he’s giving a chance.

Thompson and Fonua had both played a few years of NRL and few years of ESL. They were somewhat known quantities at the highest level. Mom has only ever played reserve grade and 1 first grade appearance. He's very much an unknown quantity

Well Mom won't have to be that great to be better than Fonua - one good game in a season does not cut it for me.

Yeah, not my cup of tea either. See him as backup and would rather have kept Kev who covers fullback as well. Hopefully the new bloke is better than both.

I thought Momirovski was 22 or 23 or something past the junior development stage…ISP for depth or 1st grade as we have very little in the way of players who play his position....

I think it's a good signing myself...

Senior development then?
One NRL cap is the point… Time will tell if it's a good recruitment

Taking any player out of a very strong system is always a big gamble. You look at a lot of x Storm players never play at the same level when they move on to another club.

On the other hand, if there are no marquee players available or willing to jump ship, than its smart recruitment to target players being road blocked in strong systems.

Sign with the Weststigers and see how really dumb some so called supporters can be.

He was solid last night, defended well only 1 mistake having the ball stripped out.
He didn't panic when he scored that try.

I thought his defense was outstanding last night, didn't get much of an opportunity to show his attack but took some tough carries coming out of the danger zone.

On that one performance alone I'm happy for him to be our starting centre next year.

It was great that he got to play in such an important game last night and he did really well. Slotted into the defensive line perfectly, marking up against Qld Origin centre Gagai - if he had any nerves, he didn't show it. Speaks volumes about his ability that a team like the Roosters promoted him into the starting side to take Mitchell's place, in such an important game, when they had more experienced options such as Aubusson to choose from.

Thanks to the Roosters for blooding him for us :wink: 'Da Family' sitting in the Tigers crowd next season should be interesting :laughing:

Yep ….. some people just kill me. Making a call on guy before giving him a chance to prove to us what he can provide. Pretty dumb.
