DEANO I THINK THAT WAS HIM, HE WAS EXCELLENT,WENT OVERSEAS BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET A RUN IN SUPER 14.VERY HANDY PLAYER.

Remember him well,although he's tough to track as he changed his name at least once!
Was touted as the next Jonah Lomu,except was actually bigger at 120kgs!!
Saw him score 4 tries for Randwick one afternoon in 1sts,& once he was wound up was almost unstoppable.Problem was,he took slitely longer than the Oriana to get up to top speed,was lazy,& had bad hands & turned a bit like the same passenger ship,so was vulnerable in defence.
Super 14 sides werent interested,so he parted company to a medium term gig in Europe,but was back within a couple of months playing for Manly RU.
Picked up something in Europe or Japan from there,& has been unsighted
Remember thinking he may have been better suited to NRL than rugby,but only with the rite attitude

Wests Tigers have picked up John Grant from Eastwood RU.
Hopefully turns out to be a very good pickup for the club.

He is quick, skillful and is quite a tall bloke…. I think with an offseason of nil weight training, speed and fitness I reckon he will be up to it! I hope so anyway

Yah, we're desperate for size and speed.

Don't get the negativity, he's not going to command a lot of $$$. Yes he will need time, but who cares, we might reap the rewards. Positive signing if it does happen.
