Could be the lack of corporate facilities, undercover seating and parking. I like a day out at Henson Park but it's about as likely to host an NRL game as Lidcombe Oval or Pratten Park.I don't know why Wests Tigers cannot use Henson park when they cannot use Leichhardt Oval. It is a large oval and in close proximity to Leichhardt Oval. I followed Newtown there and it has a great crowd atmosphere
Parramatta is not on the list for a venue, too small and the training venues listed are all Leichhardt standard or belowParramatta would also be used a world cup Venue and training facility
If WEsts Tigers were playing regularly at Leichhardt Oval this mess would not have happened. It is a Management calamity oof the first class.
ELMO Stadium it is then.We need to pick one and just play one or two heritage rounds per year at the other. The best sporting organisations all have a place they defend as their own. Ours should be named after our administration, Muppet Stadium.
Sounds about right. Feel like going to sleep there when there’s less than 25 thousand. The atmosphere will match our footy.Leichhardt is not our home. It is Balmains. Campbelltown is the Magpies. Probably the Olympic stadium would be the WTs.
We will be back at at our grounds early.
The international teams that train there will breath in the failure that permeates those grounds. Out of the cup in the group rounds.
Teams based at those grounds don't often make the finals
I played there years ago, and have attended several games and would be a reasonable alternative.I don't know why Wests Tigers cannot use Henson park when they cannot use Leichhardt Oval. Another interesting fact. If my memory serves me correctly, the ground record crowd at Henson is about 30,000. Amazing !I played there years ago, and have attended several games and would be a reasonable alternative.
Can hold pretty good numbers .
But won’t happen.
I 😍 Lidcombe Oval.Let's go lidcombe let's go, 👏👏

When I was the same age as you when you sat on the cycle track "cycles hadn't even been invented" 🤣.Been a while since I sat on the cycle track.
That’s too subtle for me TO but looked it up and it’s 30,500 in the 1960’s.Funny, I heard their attendance is always announced as being 8,972. 😉
Talking about cycling. When I was the same age as you when you sat on the cycle track "cycles hadn't even been invented" 🤣.
In the back of a station wagon on a mattress with the back door open like some [not me though 🙁] used to do in the old days at the drive in.Henson Park stay in your car and listen to the call whilst watching the game
Its all too easy. buy the underused wentworth park at Glebe, turn it into 1st class stadium. Location, Location , Location !That’s too subtle for me TO but looked it up and it’s 30,500 in the 1960’s.
Only way to watch the movie at the drive in. Also comfortable if you got sick of the movie could close up and have a little r..t.In the back of a station wagon on a mattress with the back door open like some [not me though 🙁] used to do in the old days at the drive in.
I 😍 the Bathurst/Orange areas....sitting in front of a crackling open fire place in the lounge room.I'll second that! I'd get to most home games then.
Yep, don’t have to go to the Central West, the way some guys played on the weekend it did look like Rugba Leeg played on “ice” !I 😍 the Bathurst/Orange areas....sitting in front of a crackling open fire place in the lounge room.
Only problem is the players would need skates on their boots in place of the studs if a night game was played there.
But what a spectacular game to watch though....Rugba Leeg played on ice🥶.
