Actually, he's one player who doesn't need outside motivation to play well, he's the best hooker we have, or are likely to have for a couple of years.
So Taylor wants to pay him, but not to get any return for it. What a fool!!
Pity the reserve grade isn't being televised. It'd probably get more viewers than first grade.

Thanks buddy, but i dont have facebook. As i said unlike alot of people on here im not a supporter of either of them. I want my team to win and play the best team, and there are individuals out there who are making decisions which arent in the interests of us making the semis this year.

I think there's a lot of people who support the team, Not the coach and Admin.After all the stuff ups that this club is responsible for over the years, it's a perfectly reasonable attitude IMO.

I can cop this on 2 conditions

1\. The playing group doesn't get lost over this and they throw in the towel. It would be criminal, and if they do, heads need to roll at the end of the yr, that's non negotiable.

2\. ET doesn't dragged back into the hooking rotation. Halatau and either Cherrington/Liddle.

I think you will find that the hooker rotation will be Halatau/Edwards.

Edwards has been playing 40 minutes at hooker in NSW Cup and having watched him closely against the Dogs last game he was really good at dummy half. He then also provides you with a rotation option for the props or back rowers as well giving us great utility value but he was very impressive at dummy half with quick smooth passing and great defence was one of our best on ground

How did he go in SOO…..oops, .sorry , forgot he was playing nsw cup.

So many contrasting thoughts on this. Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of either JT nor RF.

For one, it's very interesting that Pascoe has distanced himself from the decision, and literally said that JT's job is on the line so he can do what he wants, knowing the consequences.

I believe TT and co re: the so-called feud being a massive beat-up, but then again I struggle to believe that this is purely about cohesion. We look like going into Sunday with a part-time hooker (7 games from retirement) and a reserve grade back rower as our hooking options. I'm no fan of RF as a player or influence on the Tigers, but he's clearly a better option than Halatau and Edwards.
Is it a move to force him out? Has JT been given a 'finals or bust' ultimatum and started getting desperate? Why such a drastic move to apparently fix the attack, but no such moves to fix our sputtering defence?

I don't buy into any of the 'lack of respect' nonsense. It's professional sport, this sorta stuff happens all over the world on a regular basis and people get on with it. The 250 game milestone is irrelevant in all this.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, at the end of the day we are all armchair experts, but not sure why my opinion of our coach which = IMPOSTER is so upsetting to you. Its not and expletive its actually pretty kind to him. In a perfect world both Farah and the imposter are gone next year, its just a club legend who helped us win a premiership showed not be treated this way. Especially when you replace him with a player who is retiring and has gone backwards this year.
