If he doesnt pull his head in he'll be dropped. One last shot at origin should mean he'll be a team player.

Gotta love the negative….Not. I don't like the way the Robbie thing was played out but at least this announcement today is a positive and we should all put it to bed. I think its about time forum members moved on and gave the squad the support they deserve. 7 weeks this Saturday until the Tigers play Storm in a trial on the Sunshine Coast in Qld and the family and I will be there for better or worse. Got a gut feeling that 2016 will be a better year than the doomsday group are predicting. Bring it on.................

You know what I was going to be critical but I am over the issue so I am glad the club has dealt with it and I for one am willing to forgive and forget and assume all involved will do the same for the good of the club.

I think the leadership group idea is a really good one that has been successful in a lot of clubs and other areas of business. I think they have brought in all the experienced players together and I really like Suaso who from all reports works harder then many and will be a great example.

I would imagine we will see a team captain in Woods picked with Lawrence vice captain and we will hopefully here some more positive announcements as mentioned by the club in the next few days before Xmas

common sense prevailed

I'm just as stunned as you are mate

Just hope the group and team stick solid during next season as I suspect it's going to be a tough one.

Its a farce of epic proportions, particularly the situation with us now having 3 first grade hookers. Hilarious stuff; I had been hoping there would be a last minute Farah departure but that hope now seems dashed. I wait with breathless anticipation for the forthcoming positive news. A kitchen upgrade perhaps.

It's clear that Robbie exerts a lot of influence.

Pascoe's interview and Taylor's "quotes" are cringeworthy and uninspiring.

I am yet to renew some Platinum Memberships for 2016.

I hope this post on the website was not supposed to entice me.

It sure as hell didn't.

I am very, very concerned.

Only a number of weeks ago, this club was a basket case in terms of player welfare. Even lawyers couldn't understand why anyone would want to play here.

Yet…...players have decided to stay, have re-signed, and that Lawyers client - Robbie Farah is staying and is excited about the year ahead and loves the club.

Do we have a welfare issue or not?

If we did, it got fixed pretty damn quick.
If we didn't, someone is a liar.

Lol… Talking about leadership, while back flipping on leadership? :roll

#pathetic #basketcase

How does your "I run WT not the stupid coach" stand up now?
As I stated earlier, journos can't come out with comprehensive and detailed articles then they not appear, they would rightly lose their jobs and integrity. Some bods here should not be so cynical.

I may take out membership for the first time if not too pricey for someone who can't attend games.

Don't know if anybody watched the interview, but my god was it scripted; from the questions to the responses. With all the media training I'd expect Pascoe to have, he could have made it sound a bit more sincere. It was like there was a bloke behind him with a big piece of cardboard with the things he needed to read out.

Anyway, you'd have to assume that the news is dual captaincy. Or they have reduced the prices of beers and pies at Leichardt Oval. Just not sure which one would be better news….

I think Geo would prefer cheaper pies…

Wooohooo thank god we can now concentrate on the footy come March, compromise was the only solution. It's all up to JT now to select the best 13 week in week out and get the best out of the Tigers. As for the 360 turn around, some person(s) would have been put in their place, literally, morally and legally.

You can do things the right way, or you can do them the wrong way, the Farah saga was shocking, unethical and a very obvious case of work place bullying.

Robbie, love him or hate him, he's the man.. He obviously doesn't take a back foot to anyone or cave in, an obvious choice for a leader.

I agree Twmba, that it's positive news and we should welcome any bit of positivity. As for Snake and Galagher, please get over it guys and move on. The club is trying too.. Finally! :supporter:

I've always been a believer that the best player should be captain in any sport.
I rate Tedesco as #1 @ WT's… Give him the honour & incentive to be a 1 club man, and be the poster boy for the club.
