Wests Tigers team for Parramatta Trial

a surprisingly refreshing forward pack…good to see brown on the wing, its his time to impress! though i am shocked not to see moltzen!

Good Side - So much quality to find its way back into it

Biggest Question is Where is Moltz???

Moors looked super fit in the team photo and the reports about him destroying teams late last year were strong. So maybe he could be in for a really big year if he can grab this opportunity Sheens has given him. I really didnt expect Sheens to give him a chance, but now that he has, it wouldnt surpsise me to see junior take it. he's very talented.

Gotta love the depth in 2011\. Two quality half backs to pick from. Remember when Prince left we had nothing.
Sorry John Morris should never been put in as half back (sorrow Willow to stray from subject)

Where can I view the 2011 team photo KS?

The only team photo on the Members Only portion of the official club website is the 2010 one.

Great side! For once it seems like we are in unison about a Sheens named side. Hats off to Sheensy for giving the right players the right spots (for the time being).

Moltz recovering from his ankle problem. Should be right for round 1

Strange to see Woodsy on the bench as I assumed he would be at starting prop for NYC.

Will be interested in hearing how they all go and reports on the players who get called up

Why do you find it strange Smeg??
Woods was fast tracked to play for BRET at State Cup level last year before injury struck him down again.
If Al Schirnack doesn't get some game time in this squad AND The Foundation Cup, then that WILL be criminal.

1 Wade McKinnon
2 Lote Tuqiri
3 Blake Ayshford
4 Chris Lawrence
5 Mitch Brown
6 Benji Marshall
7 Robert Lui
8 Junior Moors
9 Robbie Farah
10 Keith Galloway
11 Simon Dwyer
12 Mark Flanagan
13 Chris Heighington

Interchange
14 Aaron Woods
15 Geoff Daniela

I expect that backline will be set for Round 1 barring any injuries in our next two trials. Although my preference is for Moltzen to start the season at half-back, I think this injury has cost him that opportunity and I expect to see him fighting it out with Beau Ryan and Geoff Daniella for the bench utility roll.

In the forwards, I'd expect Andrew Fafita, Todd Payten, Bryce Gibbs and Gareth Ellis will all be in the 17 come week one, again barring any injury issues.

This would imply a round one line up of:

1 Wade McKinnon
2 Lote Tuqiri
3 Blake Ayshford
4 Chris Lawrence
5 Mitch Brown
6 Benji Marshall
7 Robert Lui
8 Bryce Gibbs
9 Robbie Farah
10 Keith Galloway
11 Todd Payten
12 Gareth Ellis
13 Chris Heighington

Interchange
14 Tim Moltzen, Beau Ryan, Geoff Daniella
15 Andrew Fafita
16 Simon Dwyer
17 Aaron Woods, Mark Flanagan, Junior Moors, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Jason Schirnack, etc etc

Basically, I'm guessing that there's really only two spots up for grabs in our round one top 17…

Liam Fulton will be in the Rd 1 side

Strange in that I expected him to hit out at least a few rounds with NYC before making the step.

But hey its a trial so anything goes
