I beleive that this is the first time that Shawn has been named in the 21 man squad. So I guess he is only just now reaching a level of fitness post-rehab to be able to play NRL. He is highly rated but I reckon if we don't see him this week, it will probably be very soon that we do.

I agree it’ll be about fitness. Didn’t play almost all of last year I believe, stuck in rehab all pre season until a few weeks ago, just had his first run in a friendly game, his fitness is what would be holding him back but it must be almost there

I think anyone questioning if Madge has written this season off is kidding themselves, they are professional athletes that want to win!

He is making changes on performance with one thing in mind, finding the best team available to him for a win.

This Brisbane team relies on 4 players TPJ, Staggs, Fifita, Haas. 2/4 are missing and I suspect Packer and TPJ will both be sent off in the first 20.

We have to win this game. Benji at 7 is the best move. For some reason we always struggle with the Broncos.

I watched the Broncs game last week and they were awful. The only thing that saved them was that the bulldogs were just diabolical. They seem to be a team of supreme athletes but lack a quality spine making them largely ineffectual. That won’t change this week and without Staggs and Fifita, I think they will struggle again.

Confidence is an amazing thing .....one win can turn a season around

At 400k a season(reportedly when JT was signing him) he has been a complete failure.3 years of failure
