Nofa, Aloiai and Hodgson sent for Covid tests because they live in hot spot areas. Should be fine though

They won’t play if they don’t have their results back though.

I’m sure their results will be pushed forwards. My girlfriends test took less than 24 hours a few days ago

I don’t see why they would be. They aren’t any more important than anyone else.

You’re right, but they’ve been given advantages for other things regarding the virus so I’m sure V’landys will be pushing the government to get it done

They are done by a private company and paid for to be expedited..not at a pop up station..

Also essential workers in the general public get results within 24hrs..my daughter was tested at 10am on a Saturday and had the results at 11pm that night..

Reports are the results will be back this afternoon. Yeah my girlfriend got hers in less than 24 hours so either way it’s not an issue

Mine took almost 3 days

They both trained for the captains run with the full squad this morning at Leichhardt. If they do test positive the whole team will not be playing tomorrow night.

Other than the Knights game - and even in that, we were still in it up until a certain point - all our games have been winnable, but we were still unable to close out those games.
This is mediocrity in all it's glory.
There is absolutely no harm in the team's foundation if players are getting dropped due to poor form. I said it the other other night, at times, this team are stuck in 2nd gear and there's always the one or two that fail to fulfil their role for the team. It's complacency and what is called weak links.

If you look at the recent Player's Poll only two of the boys got a mention. Nofo and Harry were voted third overall in their respective positions - with HG also getting the majority of votes for both Rookie of the Year and Best Buy of the Year.
We need to build a team of players who are respected and admired by their peers, as much as us fans.

How can Harry get best buy when he is on loan

Shhhh don't tell the players ?
But if it eventuates for Rookie of the year - which is looking more likely than not - and regardless he's only here on loan, I won't complain that the WT will be credited for giving him NRL experience.

What happens when a player tests positive?
The NRL says they have a plan, but haven't made it public what that plan is.

It’s fast now. 6 hours done by SMS.

Madge seems really keen to watch packer get a run again. Says for the first time he’s seeing the ‘real russell’ as he’s not held back by injuries.

Hopefully russell doesn’t get too excited and get himself binned again. If he can play well it’s a massive boost for us considering Musgrove is out

Whilst not complaining too much, as it could be a week or so and thus almost useless like in the US, but we got our negative notifications 50 hours later via SMS yesterday afternoon.

Time for those players living in the affected areas to be staying elsewhere if they haven't already done so.

If Packer makes more than 10 runs I’ll eat my shirt. Still waiting for him to recapture his form from early 2018, that’s the Packer I expected when we first signed him. Surely extra incentive now to play well is the fact it’d be almost contract time for him

Should have started last week for mine, as well as his first appearance, rather than from the bench.

Yeah I think it’s better than having him off the bench.

Hope they don't have symptoms. Assume this is just precautionary.

Secretly good to see Simon Dwyer's name still associated with the WT. I see him on the telly up in the box during games sitting near Madge.

Hope he and all the others are all well.

What role does he actually have? He’s always in the coaches box.

Love hearing Madge speak about the team. You can't help but believe in the guy, even when he's talking up the corpse of Chris McQueen. If he can actually sort out our club then I think his next job will be with the Federal Government solving COVID.

Not sure what role he has with the club but didn't Freddy have him as an assistant while he was coaching the city rep side. Good to see him within the club in some fashion anyways

Broncos centre Herbie Farnworth has been ruled out with a bad cork suffered against the Bulldogs, with Richie Kennar to take his place. The injury-hit Broncos are also sweating on the fitness of star backs Tesi Niu and Xavier Coates. Winger Coates trained in a non-contact bib this week, while fullback Niu left training after copping a knock.

He’s the statistician

He was organising the player video and stats reviews. Not sure if he still has that role.
