Mbye is the whipping boy on here because he's overpaid. He could lead the NRL in try assists and people would still call for his head.

Key word "Overpaid". If he's happy to sign a contract for ridiculous money then you have to back it up with solid performances every week or be prepared to cop some stick from the fans. It goes with the territory.

Aaah the old pre-season 'never been fitter, never been faster, training the house down' dross. Cheers Madge! McQueen will be hopeless, at least it won't come as a shock or a disappointment I guess. He would be struggling to get a game at Canterbury, Warriors or Titans in their current state, buggered if I know why our team is reduced to having to scrape that far down into the barrel.

He’s not gonna Refuse the money is he. Blame Cleary for it not Mbye, he’s a $400k player at most and that’s what should be expected of him. Just because he’s on the bigger money doesn’t mean he’s gonna turn into that level player

Yes he was willow,but he ran and tackled ok and didnt drop the ball or giveaway penalties...he was ok since he hasnt played for so long..

They played really well. Most impressive was they finished the team. They've been able to dominate bad teams for periods but always end up letting them back in the game, this was unrelenting. The changes looked good, Walters was an excellent compliment to Benji, and Benji was even better then he had been. I'm guessing Madge's tactic in dropping him is to get him to lift like he did tonight. Maybe he also just realises he's older and needed a break.

My pessimism proved unfounded tonight, really expected a stinging broncos win tonight and so impressed with how we played. So happy to say I was wrong this week and I'm keen to see Walters run around next week.

So full credit to Madge and the players for playing a structured and effective game. Haven't seen the tigers as clinical.

That said, the Broncos were dreadful, I don't remember a team as bad as them. They just seem to have neither motivation or a clear way of playing. It's miserable.

We need to start beating top 8 teams, but they did all that they could in this game.
