I'd like to see Laurie play 6 today, Mybe at 1 and Tommy at 14.

Mybe is generally safe at fullback but he hasn't proved to be creative enough to scheme around the ruck.

I'm confident that Liddle can play the 80 - if he doesn't Talau slots into to 1 and Mybe goes to 9.

Mbye with no match fitness, on a slippery surface with his supposed hammy issues playing fullback is not a good idea IMO

Agree, it's Brooks year. However Jock and Adam played really well alongside him in the Manly trial.

I don't have the same level of confidence in Mbye.

I also think Luke looked classy kicking v Manly ( 4/5 ). He should be given the opportunity to kick again today.

Mbye is good at backing up and has nice passing, just needs to play simple at 6 back up the forwards and pick his passes. Leave the kicking to Brooks. I'm not worrying about our attack with Mbye, he's always had really slick passing and good pace he will be fine just give early ball to Roberts and Nofa

Tommy talau a strange one but like Mmbye at 6 we should hold our own against raiders

The Simpkin situation needs to be handled carefully. Teams without their regular 9 or simply lacking a good one would kill to get a talented kid like Simpkin and would throw a lot of cash his way to make it happen despite contracts etc. Same applies to Liddell if and when Simpkin gets the nod ahead of him. Good 9's are rare and much sought after.

Nah i hope he plays well and puts pressure on AD to also perform for the position, nothing like depth.
