What a great bench...now lets see if this team can finally perform a full 80 minutes of pressure football..
good to see Madge has the guts and fortitude to make the changes that many said he wouldn't..

Be honest everyone...Im that happy atm Ive opened another bottle of Wild Turkey,I haven't been this happy on teamsheet day for yonks....yeee haa...

Scull ....scull

Yeah kinda happy with the changes, especially Jennings, probably more pleased he actually made changes more than anything else.

I hope Packer grabs this opportunity.

Me too mate, I don't think we will roll the raiders, especially after they lost last week, but I think this is the turning point moving forward, the old keep doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result was doing my head in, here's cheers buddy

Some interesting decisions glad Madge has the balls to do it.

Musgrove starting and Mikaele bench is a great move, our forward pack won’t be as weak when the starters go off and Musgrove looked good in his two games.

Lawrence for Garner is a bit baffling but at least rowdy can play second row instead of lock.

Talau for Jennings a much needed move hopefully he can catch a footy, he’s a powerful ball runner

Grant playing 80 is good, we suffered when he went off last game

Good to see Chee-Kam back he suits these new rules and very interested to see how Packer goes.

Squad looks alright, I don't really agree with Brooks staying in the line up and benji getting dropped, benji as we all know is not without his issues but he has by far shown way more attacking ability, urgency and effort then luke Brooks all year even at 35 he constantly has defences second guessing and his ability to keep plays alive has dug us out of a few holes . Personal opinion I don't think Brooks has shown the progression of the other good halves in the league to lead a team, with poor choice poorly timed kicks for the situations at the time grubbers into opponents legs , low driving kicks into other players, I don't hate the guy by any means at all on the football field, I once had huge hopes for Brookes but he's just not the answer for us? Am I wrong?

Well if the halves don’t perform this week surely Brooks will be dropped ?

Lawrence over Garner is a deadset stitch up

Good to see Reynolds Talau and cheeks get a run ..packer as well !

Hopefully Jennings has applied for a gig at Bunny..good riddance !

Garner is struggling with the deliberate elbow he copped to the throat from Taylor which forced him from the field..could still be a late inclusion..

Hope so
I like Garner

Well that good to know ..you now have 2 Wests Tigers players you like..

Packer is the big one for me, where has that come from. I actually like the changes Benji bunted means no one is safe i hope grub takes his chance and smokes them. I would say Garner is injured or a huge doubt which is why Rowdy is in. I just hope Talau keeps away from Harrys legs but im looking forward to having another look at him.

Hobs I haven't been this overjoyed since Happy got caught toad lickin in the main street of Gladstone at Xmas time...:face_with_cowboy_hat:

No complaints about Marshall, however, would he have been dropped if we fielded the short kick off? I don’t think he would have been.

I'm worried about Talau. They will be kicking to his wing all game.

No worries. I am sure that Talau will, over this week, get more than plenty of practice fielding the high kicks under pressure.

I wonder how Packer will do. All these reports about him losing weight and being fit hopefully are true. He hasn’t played in a long long time

Any word on captain?

Mbye mate . As per usual .

There is a common theme in team selection. Madge has replaced all players with harder runners and more forwards.

Talau for Jennings
Musgrove for Clark
Packer for Walters
Reynolds for Benji
Lawrence/MCK for Garner

We are going to lose this game perfect time for a shake up.

Geez Madge has had a cleanout and your being ….NEGATIVE...

At this stage there are only 2 players that have definitely been dropped..Jennings and Clark..the others that were not named in the 17 could still play...

I don't think you're wrong.

Perhaps his age works against him. He's still only about 25 years old, still very young. Perhaps a good half-back is like a Prop, needs to hit mid late 20s before he comes of age. I agree he seems to be progressing very slowly, and I'm sick of the excuses for him (like I'm sick of the excuses for every player).

Maybe he'll come good, perhaps, we have him for another few years so I certainly hope so. I wouldn't blame the coach on convincing him to go to another club though and finding a replacement.
