WESTS Tigers Team V Dragons

Im getting real nervous about this game,

Rabbits
Dogs
Eels
Warriors
Raiders

I know there is no easy games, I fear our season may be over before it starts.

This one is very important

I'm referring to last year too.. every time I go to a game his holding his arm concussed coming of field.

Well he did play 23 matches last season…?

Our 2nd most reliable prop last season after Woodsy. More consistent than Taupau. Just does his job quietly, whereas big Marty is all power and breaking the line etc.

But i reckon Ava will make a lot more breaks this season than in previous seasons!

I guess what I'm saying is I'm not quite sold on him as yet.

Clear as mud.

Taupau taking the 3rd/4th hit up in the set a bit wider after some momentum killed it on Saturday night. Great move from Taylor and will only prove more beneficial as the year goes on.

I think Ava will play, 9 days is a decent amount of time to recover from a concussion, if he doesn't though I'm confident Buchanan can do the job.

Hoping Simona sees some quality early ball. Farrell is pretty ordinary defensively, can see Tim causing plenty of trouble on the left.

I think if both teams play their best we win. We owe saints for two horrendous performances last year.

I actually played with Ava for a year. He was a scary dude on the field. The coach played him on the wing a bit because he would just demolish the small guys out wide and get us points when we needed them. He used to be pretty reserved. He was actually one of the quickest in our team when he was younger.

It was a while back now but I remember when he first joined with the Bulls he went from another new guy to standout pretty quick. He was a monster. He could scrap too when it came to it. I remember him scoring from 20 out with 4 or 5 dudes hanging off him once.

Luke Keary was a year younger and Pauli Pauli was a few years below that. Wolfman and Jamie Buhrer were also local boys from memory.

I was lucky to get coached by Gary Freeman. Also got coached by Steve Hanson but he couldn't coach a fart bubble. Gary Jack used to hang around the oval cos one of his boys played for the club, my uncles used to tell me about him and ever since then I was star struck.

Great to see Ava making a name for himself though.

Pretty big loss for ya if Lodge does pull out.. Although Buchanan had a good preseason as looked improved on last year.

Lodge still has a couple of days to pull through, so might just be a precaution for now *fingers croased*

Simona didn't train either,
He spent the session running with Moltzen, Lawrence and the Physio.
Lawrence did return to the main squad, but Simona stayed with the Physio for the whole session.

Three tough games coming up after this one. Really important to get these 2 points. Losing Creah will hurt the Dragons - he goes well against us, as a general rule.
I think we'll win a close one - maybe 20 to 16!

i cant see us not getting the 2 points. Im already convinced we won.

I'm hoping the players don't go into the game like they have already won ? Vs the Titans they could of had the same attitude then at half time was told to step it up which they did .

We have to earn our win , not based on what players they have missing and think it's in the bag.

thats the 2nd person that said that - Newtown was first last week - i reflect my own opinion not of the players - if you read it FT i said ME - not the players - IM convinced. You gotta laugh…..

Yeah i realise this AHX , that is why i said i hope the players don't go in this game with this thought process ( that they won the game).
I know it's just your thoughts and nothing wrong with you feeling super confident.

With Buchanan not playing state cup yesterday is assume Ava is in severe doubt, although others are saying lodge didn't train Friday so who knows..

Lovett also not playing indicates Lawrence must not be 100%
