I feel that having Liddle on the bench will make Simpkin play better. He hasn't been playing how he does in NSW Cup as he seems to be pacing himself so he can get through 80.

maybe Madge is teaching him how to get 80 min games ...its hard work but worth it in the long run...great coaching..

I think Liddle will a big positive for the team this week. We are only one win out of the top eight, and coming up against teams that are starting to struggle over the next 4 weeks. If these players keep the intensity up, get some more confidence with some more wins, they can definitely turn their season around. If we turn up this weekend and win two in a row, I think that could be the confidence the team needs to continue the momentum we need to winning the next 3.

If they lose.......well let’s not think about that scenario.

My concern with Simkin is that he is a bit one dimensional and does not have the pace out of dummy half to make teams unsure of what he is to do. Maybe he has got it but I haven't seen it.

I don't think he looks slow. Sure he's not blinding fast but you don't really need to be as a hooker. Robbie wasn't insanely fast but if you time your run you can still make a line break, I thought he ran at the right times mostly last week and once he keeps playing with the team the rest of our team will get a feel of when he runs and back him up

We just need a team that is willing to go out and do the fundamentals. Work hard, complete sets, quicker play the balls, limit one-out forward runs & defend for each-other...Once that's done, the game will open up a bit more.

If we do that, we can hurt teams with the size in the forward pack, but if we don't the lack of mobility really hurts us.

I like this team list and have been suggesting Liddle at 14 for some weeks now so interested to see how this combination goes.
My only reservation is Seyfarth on the bench, instead of probably Musgrove, however on recent form you probably have to give Seyfarth the nod as he looks more reliable even though his impact is questionable. Amone and Blore are not quite ready and need a few more weeks.
We can not afford to give Titans room to play -we need a straight line in D with good line speed and aggression. Simple as that - the rest will fall into place if we stop their go forward. If we let them have space out wide Fifita will kill us, as will AJ.

I think our team will improve coming into winter away from day games with the rules. We struggle against athletic teams. Wet weather or night games will benefit us.

We only won 7 games last year, 5 of those (Rds 3, 6, 7, 10, 14) Mbye was in the centres, he scored tries in three of those five.........but otherwise a pretty convincing point of view.

We all react differently to stressful situations.
And Yeh, this person should realise when he/she is in a stressful situation then back off if they cant handle the stress.
But how do you know this person cant back off?
That if their need to down vote is denied they might just go and blow their brains out as their way of handling their stress/anxiety.
Is there a maximum no. of down votes that one person can do?
