I think it was a combo of Luke Brooks love and Jackson Hastings hate. He was very passionate about both.

I don't follow the game stats, so I have no idea about Mikaele's tackle count or missed tackles, but he looked to me like he was going okay with gradual improvement?

Tough call.

Stats probably won't show the true picture, imo he has been the worst defensive forward for WTs this year. He just does not work hard enough around the ruck, it creates space and allows teams real easy metres up the middle.
I think he's very talented physically (his football skills are pretty average), but he needs an attitude adjustment, same as the others that have been dropped this year.

Seems like a gentle giant to me. We need a firebrand to inspire the team.

Rewatched some highlights today, Mikaeles defence has definitely been average. So many times he takes the wrong options and leaves big holes in the defensive line, quite a few tries conceded because of that.
