I would of thought Tuilagi has more to his game than Amone ..and would be ahead of him match fitness wise ,hard to break the bash and barge I suppose.

Can't say I'm a fan of four forwards on the bench. Modern game requires a hooker/utility on the bench to keep up with the speed of the game plus Liddle struggles to play 80 in the tough games. One of our forwards normally only plays 10 or 15 minutes anyway, makes all the sense in the world to give Simpkin a run.

I really hope moving forward into next season that the reserve grade backs are going to step up or are punted and replaced with some that can actually be promoted to first grade when needed .. the constant in and outs of the same players that are not producing when asked is becoming tiresome to say the least ..off season got some depth this season REALLY!

My thought exactley ! Very skinny in the backs, though Flegg backline has heaps of speed and talent, Ogden, Scilarie, Kei, Tannous and others may be the future.

Jacob is struggling to play 80. Simpkin is fully capable of playing 20 minutes off the bench, he had a few average games in first grade but he's had some good ones, same as Liddle. It's more for Liddle than Simpkin, give him a break and Jake can play 15-20 minutes and improve his game as well. It's a win-win
