First time in a very long time we actually have 2 wingers who actually play wing in a squad!! Any info on the young fella who was named on the reserves list? Paugo or whatever his name is? What position does he play and where is he from

Came from qld cup and been applying his trade in nsw cup for us. Haven’t watch him too much but notice he always makes good meters

Do you know the real problem - that Tigers will probably tough out the game for about 30 mins, then concede 2 fatigue-related tries before half-time, go in to the break 18-4 down, concede another try after HT, rally again for 20 mins, then concede 4 tries in the last 20 to go down 46-12.

Or at least something similar to last week.

Thanks guy @hobbo1 @tony-soprano . Hopefully if/when he gets a crack he stands up for us!! Assuming they’re not 100% on talau being fit?

Seriously, there are 3 players in the cup side (and they are not great) who would make TT look ordinary., It's beyond me.why they percervere,.

Looking at the two sides on paper the only match up where we have a player that compares positively is Jennings vs Noffa (on a good day). Every other position they pretty much smash us. It’s games like this when you really have to face the fact that we have a fairly average squad of players compared to the top sides. It’s the sad reality and will take some time to fix unfortunately.

Can't say I'm a fan of four forwards on the bench. Modern game requires a hooker/utility on the bench to keep up with the speed of the game plus Liddle struggles to play 80 in the tough games. One of our forwards normally only plays 10 or 15 minutes anyway, makes all the sense in the world to give Simpkin a run.

But in 2014 4 big forwards were a premiership winning gameplan.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Kiah Cooper get a go. Been a few weeks since I’ve seen him play but he looks smart. Not the quickest but looks good defensively and hits harder than his stature. Seems to make things happen. Interestingly he was in the 21 recently but now is out
