Remember that time we signed Mbye and thought we were moving up in the recruitment world.

He was probably our best player for the 1/2 year after he joined in ‘18. I still rate him as a player..

I think we owe Rowdy this weeks game as he has been excellent in the centres the last month for our defence. Plus its his 250th and you know he wont let you down.

This is precisely why we lose more games than we win every year.

Nobody owes any of our players anything, we need to win games, that's all.

We do and Rowdy is playing better than Garner - no contest.

He actually was not actually this bad before!

I don’t think anyone knew Mbye was on massive dollars though. For the right price he’s a good signing, was going well for bulldogs at fullback, started well for us there then start of 2019 he couldn’t catch a ball. The rest of his game at fullback is quite good

You must be watching different games to me. Mbye has been the same for the last 6 years. I watch plenty of dogs games he was the same inconsistent, occasional blinder but poor defence and lax attitude I know Dogs were cheering to let him go to us. It was a panic buy as was Packer, Matulino, Reynolds. He was always at best a utility as at the Dogs James Graham did the ball playing.

We’re stuck with the player and the deal best case is bench utility or gone.

i never thought id say this but i actually think twal needs to earn it over huth. Huth has been massive.

Totally agree. Twal prob a little better in defence but he stunts our attack with his lack of running impact whereas Huth has been getting over the adv line.

I agree, Twal should be a prop not a 13, we need more from a 13 if we are going to match the good teams

Not enough has been said about Brooks in the number 6. Here’s hoping he has a licence to run.

So we are going to Brooks on the 3rd or 4th tackle with Talau and Asu outside him then go to Benji for the kick on the 5th and kick for Nofo.

Brooks has a far more accurate kicking game and taller people to kick to. Benji has all of the strike power outside him and a less accurate kick but will take on more of the 5th tackle plays. It doesn't make sense to me, I will be very interested to see what the new game plan is.

Talau is a five eighth who was put on the wing out of necessity, not sure what you mean

Madge must really like this AJ fella. Signed on a 3.5 year deal and making his debut after one week of being at the club. Hopefully he can be a prodigy and become a try scoring freak for us Radradra/Sivo style

Was just thinking this watching the new Penrith winger. Comes from nowhere, faster than an Olympic sprinter and scores 100 tries in two weeks. Would like us to have a debutant do something similar.

Him being named at 6 gives me the feeling it’s Benji who will be leading them around and brooks just playing what he sees. His best attribute is his running game

We haven’t had a debut like that in a long long time. Blore the best player debut we’ve had in forever, a lot of the time guys we debut don’t seem ready or don’t really make a big impact

A few on here are happy that Garner got dropped, but he's be entitled to feel disappointed in my opinion.

Played 80 minutes. He made 46 tackles and missed 2. 10 hitups for 87 metres.

Luciano played 80 and made 9 hitups for 83 metres...33 tackles with 1 missed.

Don't understand Madge's issue with Garner.
