Congrats to Josh and his wife though

Absolutely. I remember watching Major League Baseball about 10 years ago and Cole Hamels (Phillies pitcher) walked out half way through the game as his wife went into labour. Was the playoffs too.

Aloiai’s wife gave birth. Congrats to Josh and his wife!

Why isn’t he playing?

Because his wife just gave birth? It’s pretty common for players to pull out of games when their partner gives birth.

He probably has to breech the bubble to visit her in hospital as well, I have no plroblem with him missing a game for the birth of a child.

Yeah I guess if restricted by covid not much he can do.

Even without covid, I'd have no problem with someone wanting to spend time with their wife and baby. That was one of the best times of my life and I wouldn't have missed it for a game of footy.

Poor planning tbh
Footy comes first...should’ve planned to have the kid in the off season ?

In fairness to him, WT off-season has normally begun about now anyway.

It is normally around next week it starts.

At this point we are usually talking about being in the 8 if we win this weekend. By Monday we have been pumped, finished 9th again and thoughts are drifting to the next year

True
If it wasn’t for Covid they’d be in Bali next Tuesday lol ?

Big loss Aloia

It’s not really going to matter. They might win by 50 rather than 40. Who cares.

Nah, they're due for a loss

They are, but we’re pretty awful. Half their team would need to be struck by lightning during the game for us to have a chance.

What's the forecast?

No lightning, just pain.

Yeah it’s weird. We’ll still be playing football in September. It’s been a while.

Aloiai out, McIntyre onto bench.

Just screwed my Fantasy team.

Serves me right for having garlic mayo in my team anyway, I'm not a fan.
I think it was his opportunity this season to step up and be a leader of this pack, I don't think he's capable of it though

He literally has been the leader of our pack

Josh will be a big loss...he charges at the line like a bull all game.

Has anyone seen The Huth 'ever' charge at the line? I can't recall him once ever really charging onto it.

Congrats to Josh and his little family.

I assume this means he will be out next week too. Not that we'll be playing for anything then...

Not that I think it’s likely , but if we win this week and NQ decide to turn up thier once a year against the sharks , we are literally 1 win out of the eight. With a depleted manly and Souths coming up. Also the warriors are on the same points as us , and have the same incentive. They won’t beat the knights but still . We will all be irritated come Sunday morning if results go our way . Because we will back playing maths games at the back end of the season ... as usual

No mate. The Huth is a fill in till we can get someone damaging, one day! 👍
