What would people have to complain about if we were good..

The forum would collapse

I just find it weird..you get people who are done..never buying membership again..not sure if they are even going to watch us play..the strong Clubs sign all the best players ..the refs hate us ..on and on..

If poking your eye out with a blunt stick hurts..you probably stop doing it..

but nup..

Well I guess I'm one of the dumb ones that will keep watching regardless. I'll be in front of the screen again tonight even though I am fairly confident of the result.

I’d love it on here if we were actually a good team. I love the positive atmosphere here even when we’ve had one great win, imagine if we had a whole season of winning! It’d be like Christmas!

Well for one, if WT were good, we wouldn't be seeing interviews of them saying again and again that they know what they need to do to win. I'd appreciate that change.

So you get pleasure and enjoyment from watching us play?

We both know it's the uncertainty of sport that keeps bringing people back

People are frustrated and wanna vent that... Your holier than thou attitude might make you feel.... I dunno what.... It comes.across as pretty fake though.. At least others are speaking from the heart

As frustrating and disappointing Wests Tigers have been and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with being their supporter, I could never follow another team. Maybe that's tragic but that's the way it is.

As a 49ers fan I can say that a forum used to losing goes through a gradual transition of cynical > overconfident > relaxed/aloof.

I love watching the Wests Tigers play..

You could at least mingle with the commoners and have the occasional rant

That’s rubbish . I agree with GEO . And have had a go at the forum in the past because of it . I get the ranting . I even encourage it after a loss . But it’s Saturday morning . The game was 530 last week . And the same things get repeated over and over .
You have to move to a more positive head space , otherwise your fandom is ? about you . It has nothing thing to do with the team . If you’re not bouncing back , to something resembling positive , then you seriously need to give the team away . And I’m not being antagonistic. My missus can’t stand me when in that headspace . Some of you guys are perpetually in it. It surely must affect your day to day. It’s got to be extremely toxic.

Aloiai’s wife gave birth. Congrats to Josh and his wife!

Why isn’t he playing?

Because his wife just gave birth? It’s pretty common for players to pull out of games when their partner gives birth.

He probably has to breech the bubble to visit her in hospital as well, I have no plroblem with him missing a game for the birth of a child.

Yeah I guess if restricted by covid not much he can do.

Even without covid, I'd have no problem with someone wanting to spend time with their wife and baby. That was one of the best times of my life and I wouldn't have missed it for a game of footy.

More importantly, it can be an extremely difficult period for some new mothers as well as the time that they need the most love and support.

Spot on mate, family always comes 1st to me and I am glad that is how the club appears to be handling it as well.

Yeah, I'm the same. I find I'm enjoying watching other teams play more than I used to though just to see some decent competition.

We can't control what our team does. If they win enjoy it. If they lose try again.

As long as they don’t lose by some all time record score, I couldn’t handle adding that stigma on top of some of the other records we already hold.
