Devastating if true was really looking forward to seeing him play for us. However shows just how important the depth is with Benji able to come in - last year we woukd be bringing in Jack LittleJohn

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but

Josh Reynolds out
Benji Starting

Don't really see it as a bad thing, Benji/Brooks is a much more natural halves pairing and Reynolds will give more impact of the bench than what Benj would. The rotation in particular will be interesting in itself as to what Cleary does, but he seemed pretty confident when he said he had a plan in the Friday presser.

No loss; probably big gain if true

Can't believe it season hasn't even started and a player gets injured, we never get a break, I feel bad for Josh to he has shown already he is here with all guns blazing has already shown his heart and is ready to play with all the passion of TRUE TIGAAR.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has finalised his side to take on the Sydney Roosters for their Round 1 clash at ANZ Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff for the match is at 4:30pm AEDT with live coverage available via Fox League (Ch.502).

Cleary has confirmed one late change to the team originally named during the week with five-eighth Josh Reynolds set to miss the match after picking up a hamstring injury at the final training session yesterday.

He is replaced in the run-on side by Benji Marshall who plays his first game for the club in 1646 days, while Matt McIlwrick joins the interchange bench in jersey 18\. Matt Eisenhuth also starts in the front row in place of Ben Matulino, who joins McIlwrick on the bench alongside Alex Twal and Michael Chee Kam.

Corey Thompson, Russell Packer, Pita Godinet and Robbie Rochow will all make their club debuts.

Love the prop rotation pairing enforcers and workhorses, I think that's the way to go to keep us consistent over the 80 minutes.
