Nofa let in 3 first half tries against NQ and the game was effectively over.

Cini made 5 handling errors on tackle zero, that’s effectively enough to lose a game

Talau had 3-4 brain explosions last week.

Yes, team game, of course others contributed but my point is valid.

Glad it is a team sport, or you could just single out one player in each game and blame them for the loss.

Even when there’s 16 other guys helping, some of ours find a way to completely blow a game.

I agree with this being an awful take. I can agree somewhat with cinis game, awful and way too many mistakes! But Talau vs warriors? What game are you watching? Every time they scored in talaus corner he was outnumbered because our edge defence didn’t shift! Do we have that many fans that don’t understand the game?? Watch a reply and see how many players talau is left with to cover! Same for nofa on the try he charged out on! The only thing I can cop on Talau was the one rts beat Joey and it looked like Talau was jogging along, I read someone else say he was marking one of the runners behind rts.. idk but it didn’t look good. Clearly Madge see’s what the issue is and it’s multiple people defending by themselves and not as a unit. Crazy to blame Talau for the loss against the warriors

Talau wasn’t solely responsible for the loss to the Warriors, but his performance was pretty shocking. If you put two decent wingers in we probably win the game.

I have been worried about JTJ's general state in all games. The footage of him never looks positive on or off field. Fingers crossed he is ready to go and lift off

He never gets the ball & he needs it to be effective.
This time round it should be different, Mbye should feed him early ball.

I think Tuilagi would be a bit disappointed. He's been a standout for the Magpies.

Agree, I'd have thought he'd get the call before Amone, Tuilagi has more impact.

Isn't Tuilagi a backrower? Why would he be preferred to a middle forward?
If Tuilagi replaced anyone at the moment it would be Blore.

I have lost confidence in this current side. When you watch the Teddys, Turbos, Paps there's an adrenilan buzz. When the ball goes to the Tigers backline there's dread. People got dropped when they didn't perform, now it's 1000 chances.
I don't see this is good for the player, and not good for the kids waiting for a chance to perform in the top grade
I am confident for next year, as the previous 10yrs, but there is some serious questions about the running of this side.

Mbye at 5/8 really needs to do something.

I'm in favour of trying James Roberts on the wing but given his form to date and his few weeks injured, a week in reserves wouldn't have hurt. Maybe Kiah Cooper, named at 21 and going well on the left wing for Magpies, should have been tried.

No bench back or hooker. Liddle will need a good 80, and fingers crossed for no backline injuries.

Really feel for Stefano. I’m prepared to give Seyfarth some credit, I think he’s getting better. But Stefano needs to be in the mix somewhere. I haven’t seen Amone, so can’t judge him yet. Mikaele is playing like a guy whose off contract. Blore has to be there too. It’s a hard one.

Seyfarth is a Madge-like player that he'll always try to fit into the side due to their effort and consistency, like a Dave Tyrell or a Jason Clark, or even Twal. I think he'll be on the bench for a while providing he keeps playing with the effort he's shown these past few weeks.
