Twal is a big in for this week should be good, a blore was making Brown look like a flop last game such a beast . Hope we signed and had Harry Grant as our own hooker for a while, sooo good

Needs to put glue on his hands and stop stumbling about trying to regain his fitness.
Hands on his hips just before the dropped Grant pass.
Play him less minutes for now, given we have a solid bench with 3x 80min backrowers and a hooker that will only leave the field if he breaks a bone.

Really need to be doing better than Clark next year. I know he’s a depth player but we need better depth in that case


Well Clarke defends well, does not offer much in attack he certainly is not the worst going round, i have watched him a bit more closer in games based upon some forum member feedback, Packer comes back next week and either on the bench or out of the side, good back up option.

I find it hard to criticize him as he is somwhere between 4th-6th prop on the roster and does his job when he comes on.If he was number 1 i could understand the criticism

You forgot Ray Brown. They took the three of them - gutted our team. You never hear Ray Brown mentioned these days but he was great for us and he did play for Australia.

Thanks. Also took Jack Jeffries as well. Manly screwed the Magpies. When Tommy and OGrady went to the Jets I was devastated.

Jack Jeffries never went to Manly, but the other 5 all left in one off season followed by Ribot 2 years later, a devastating blow, but the Magpies made the top 5 the next year with out them, a stellar effort

I would be throwing Brooks into dummy half when Harry comes off. Perfect opportunity atm to see how he handles it. New rules could really suit him late in the game.
He plays best running the ball and playing whats in front of him. He's no good at preempting and setting up plays.
Would be an experiment worth a go imo

Got to get more out of the number 14 no matter who it is. If we just had a forward that could play centre then we could always have four forwards on the bench.

I think Lawrence belongs in reserve grade - but that’s beside the point. You suggested that someone has to make way for his inevitable return to the bench. Without wanting to start a fight at all, there is clearly only one player on our bench who doesn’t belong there.

You’re assuming him going back to the bench is inevitable. It definitely isn’t. He wasn’t in the 17 when we were at full strength earlier in the season, so I’m not sure why he would be now.

Totally agree, but with him back where he belongs, the squad would probably be better balanced with either Walters or the returning Reynolds taking his bench spot. We might see that play out on Friday evening anyway.

Played almost the whole game, ran for 150m made 33 tackles, missed 1. Hard marker.

Could that be BJ? I think he could devastating as a edge forward. He would add more impact off the bench and if I am being honest, he doesn’t look like the fittest hombre to ever grace a field.
