WESTS Tigers Team V Warriors...

Taylor must have suffered sunstroke during the week if he plays Lawrence at 6\. I'll call a Warriors win now if that happens tomorrow.

Ha.

He's also the size of a brickhouse now, more a 2nd-rower than he's ever been.

Taylor's comments yesterday seem to counteract that move. He mentioned that he thought Cherri could handle the extra minutes. My only thought could be that he doesn't want to expose two small men early to the Warriors big men with Cherri to come on after 20min, and Lovett to defend in the middle. Jason Sheens

Ill be surprised if cherro doesnt start and play the majority of the game, but i dont think taylor would come out and say his gameplan either. SMH reported that lovett spent time at dummyhalf at training, sounded like the reporter was there so id take that over james phelps weird claim of lawrence at 5/8.

also wests tigers twitter have confirmed MCK as 18th man so we're 1-17\. warriors forum seem to think they are too

Id find it weird to not give Cherrington the starting gig. This is the perfect opportunity for him to show his worth. Hopefully sanity prevails.

SMH reporting Lovett will fill in at dummy half if needed, which makes more sense

sounds about right

keep everyone where they are - lawrence centres if needed for injury

lovett at hooker if cherrington is struggling in the 2nd half

KISS - keep it simple stupid

JT has changed the team as per what was reported on here. Honestly I don't have any problems with it but it's interesting that he has gone for a bigger bench rather than playing Chee Kam.

It makes sense to me because the idea is to give Cherrington a rest especially at the start. I have no idea how Lovett will perform though at dummy half. The poor guy was crucified when he was played in the centres.

Some one posted saying MCK would start hooker with Chez to bench.
CLOSE ~

Lovett, wahhhtttt….!??!

Strange decision re Lovett. IMO shouldnt be near the team but lets see how this goes

Lovett would be about $1.20 to knock on from dummy half at some stage.
$1.01 to not get there in time for the play the ball.

Lovett is slow….

Maybe they're expecting him to be like Halatau.
Second rower who has good defense and can play hooker.
Doubt it though.

I think Littlejohn will spend time at DH in attack…Lovett will defend in the middle for the 1st 20-25...With the heat run the Warriors around then introduce a fresh Cherrington to take advantage...

Why not just let Cherrington start - you know, play our actual hooker AT hooker. I know it sounds like a crazy and far fetched idea but bare with me here. If Cherrington starts to get tired, THEN bring Lovett on to cover for him for 15 minutes or so.
Maybe I'm thinking too far outside the box…
