**Round 26 Recap:**
Congratulations to both **851** and **quintus**this week for tipping 7 out of 8 correctly.
It was a pretty varied round tipping wise; it looked like a few bravely threw caution to the wind, while others just tipped who they thought would win!
Mostly, the tipsters were 'at 6's and 7's', (boom boom!)….
Okay, enough of that.
So the final round winners are **851** and **quintus**. Well done guys!
**Final Standings after 2017 Season:**
As Ink said, a few tipsters needed to take a hefty swipe, and both **Fade to Black** and **born tiger** came up with the 6 off the final ball to bring up their century - great shot guys! Both finished exactly on **100** to round out the top 5 at equal 4th.
**quintus** roared right back to snatch equal 2nd overall with his awesome 7 this week, making up 4 in one round on **joebob**.
Both ended the season just like the tigers - in fine style - and have a final tally of **107**.
…and I won with a final tally of 121.
**Thanks very much to everyone for taking part in a comp that at times was eerily reminiscent of the Wests Tigers this season!\

We had a change of coach early on, no one knew what was going on, and there were issues in the front office!\
\
Thankfully none of you had to be banned due to a drug problem (that part seems to be accepted here anyway!) and selling signed "WTF Tipping Comp 2017" t-shirts, our representative tipsters didn't sign to other competitions mid year, and there was no cry baby who went to tip on the Eels' forum!\
\
At the end of the season I think it got back on the straight and narrow.\

Thank you everyone for the kind words and thanks to Forever a Tiger who is responsible for the creation of this unique tipping comp and had put in a great deal of time and effort. It really is a great format, and as I have said during the season, I really enjoy the craziness of elements such as Canberra not taking the conversion after a try, hoping some team will kick a field goal in the dying minutes when they are 5 points behind and you've tipped them with a 4.5 point start... :laughing:\

It's awesome, and I hope it continues next season, but at this stage I doubt I will be running it. I took over because there were a lot of people in the comp and thought it would be a shame for it to simply end the way it looked like it would.\
\
There is a long time between now and next season, so people have plenty of time to decide if they would like to run it. I created an excel spreadsheet that I got running okay, and I am happy to email it whoever wants to run the comp next year if they would like.\
\
Thanks again, and here's looking forward to more teams playing the Tigers in 2018 getting the start...**
