Wests Tigers to sign Jeremy Smith?

Very interesting… the Wests Tigers website's background picture consists of the normal; Luke Brooks, Robbie Farah and Keith Galloway. However, I noticed they also placed Jeremy Smith there and they never place foreign players within the background even if the tigers player's photo is in a tackle (similar thing happened last year when they left Blake Austin out of the '2015 membership' photo before he announce he would sign with Canberra)... Maybe our "signing to be announced after round 13" ???? He is also off-contract at the denouement of the year and has been linked with a move back to ST George. Jeremy would add some much needed experience to our team and particularly our pack, however he's old and nearing his 'best-before' date - wouldn't be the greatest signing ever.

He goes alright,and he is a hard and feared player,one which we need,but how old is the bloke.
 
how out of place does he look lol, good signing on a one year deal.

You may post any photo as long as you acknowledge the source…..Post away
 
This would be a terrible signing. We need edge backrowers who can dominate a game. Smith is well past it.

Well spotted …he's there alright!...is that all we can sign these days!
 
Actually, Smith is only on the site because he is making a tackle on Nofo and you can see another Newcastle jersey on the right just not his head. He has not signed and thank GOD for that.

Yeah I'm not convinced. On the version of the page I saw he's the only player I can make it out clearly. It would seem pretty odd behaviour to use that as the way to announcing a signing. But if nothing else you've made the "I've got inside info we're going to sign a player but I can't say who" crowd a bit nervous.

I said the same thing, you need to zoom out on the web browser to see it.

I think their is nothing to it. 36 and past it really, we need much better than this. Experience yes but not a hell of a lot more than that.
