Roquica is turning 21 this year…dont think he will be in the nyc squad...besides i dont think front row is for him...has the speed to play centre but the strength of a back rower

his turning 20 so he will still be eligible to play NYC

_He is_ turning 20

And front row will definitely be his position, he's only getting bigger and stronger.

Great info….I agree with your thoughts on Nofoaluma and Tedesco. Depends what the coach wants (your not the coach are you?)..if he wants someone like Mullaney who backs up the middle and can kick goals then Tedesco is the man. If he wants a Hayne type player with strength and power then Nofoaluma is the one. But both are very young and would possibly only be given a run after SG Ball.

**Billy Kitt is even younger ....I love that kid..has enormous potential....he will respond well to the professional coaching of Grant Jones..Bad luck Wests Harold Mats management... this kid is going to have the last laugh.**

Curtis Sironen is without doubt our best 17 year old and is 3 million times better than Ayoub.

Billy "The Kid' Kitt was always going to have an opportunity for the NYC.

Warren McDonnell brought him down from somewhere up the Newcastle area. He had massive wraps on the guy.

In terms of being a half back, there are probably not many better, he has a great passing game and could read what was in front of him constantly. The problem that existed when at HM for the Magpies was that his attitude was not up to scratch along with him being a defensive liability (which can be rectified if he bulks up and has the right attitude towards the defensive structures for the team).

I really hope that he takes the opportunity at the Wests Tigers and gives it his all. He could be a fantastic half back one day, and it will give the Wests Tigers a great future for the days to come.

Additionally, did Inno get signed by the Wests Tigers Under 20's. I have had massive wraps on him for quite some time. I have blogged on about this guy before, but if he gets the opportunity he could be anything (I could see him either as a lock or second row). I know he is small in comparison to other footy players (in height only), but his enthusiasm to work hard and to get the job done is second to none. I hope that he gets the oppoutunity to show the Wests Tigers his worth in this side.

yes Billy getting a shot already…great news...Staks will be pleased...isn't he about the same age as Curtis but with more talent...strange West Tigers haven written articles about him...must be in the name...Billy 'The Kid' Kitt..remember it folks...genuine born halfback..rare these days...

PS B & W..he is still a MAGPIE junior...Matt's loss...

Billy is a year younger than Curtis, doubt if he would be up to playing 20's this year though. Luke Brooks is the same age as Billy and is recovering from a bad ankle/leg break, he is by far the best half back/5/8 in that age group and would have been the NSW 1/2 back last year playing in his second season of Harold Matthews but unfortunately won't be back until 2012.
Billy is a very good organising halfback while Luke tackles like a forward and is able to beat tackle after tackle with his strength, they may form a formidable combination when they get the opportunity to play together.

Wow thanks Flash..I did not know that about Luke…shame ...Holy Cross product isn't he? Only seen him play a couple of times if it's him and he smashed our boys (All Saints Liverpool) MCS comp a year or 2 ago....

I wonder now if Warren is forgiven for McDonnell jnr..from where I sit..Wests Tigers identify and nurture talent better than most in the NRL

Billy Kitt has been named on the bench for the Magpies SG Ball game this week.

the make up of the halves will be interesting, i dont think we can go wrong with any combination.
I think the fact miller played half in the cowboys trial indicates they are most likely to play him there in NYC, i think that means that curtis sironen will play 5/8….
Ayoub and the kiwi bloke seem to be more halves than 5/8's

The forward pack is going to be very strong!

should give both NRL and NYC a big shake

i thought i read somewhere sironen will play the year out in ball and then move to the 20s squad

Pretty sure you're right. Have heard the same thing, given young Sirro's age, it may be a better transition for him.

makes sense, with the options we have, no need to rush him…. that said, who ends up in the halves ??
who will captain, woods??

Wests Tigers
New recruit halfback Jacob Miller (ex-Roosters) has been turning heads with his application after training with the first-grade squad in the off-season. He'll be joined in the halves by 17-year-old five-eighth Curtis Sironen, son of Balmain legend Paul, who played a handful of games at the end of 2010 and impressed coach Grant Jones.

The mentor is hopeful the side won't lose talented back-rower Ben Murdoch-Masila for any extended period in first grade after the 20-year-old was earmarked for first grade by Tim Sheens late last year. Jones is looking to build on last year's disappointment of missing the finals by one competition point.
