Well I am and he does look good. Safe under the high ball, good defence and doesn’t seem to make mistakes.

Can kick goals and is a very good 5/8. What is it about him that you don’t like?

Firstly, you claim to have some credentials to back your judgement...what are they?

Secondly, if you really want to know...he's slow. Made some stuttering, I don't know what to do now, run and is not a playmakers butt hole...If we really think him playing out the back is going to "ignite" our backline, then you need to watch closer. Further, we had so many offloads in the second half and I didn't see him backing up to hit a hole...Thompson does this well and as a result makes a lot of line breaks despite his size.

This is hardly surprising when you look at his NRL stats...30 games | 1 try | 2 try assists. Can't see those numbers increasing much this year.

Just because he didn't make any errors doesn't mean he is the answer to our problems...case in point, Joey Leilua...bit of a mixed bag, but the cost/benefit was in his favour today by miles. Doueihi didn't do anything wrong, but he was just making up numbers...

You're welcome to give me evidence to the contrary, but don't take it personally...I watched the same game as you and I thought he was pedestrian...you thought he was the second coming of Jesus Christ...maybe the answer is in the middle, but on the stats, he's an average footballer.

Also , our attack , without Benji mind you , looked like it flowed more .
Also he took a lot of dirty hitups in the middle of the half .
He can also kick goals , and has a pretty good passing game .

Thommos great until we have a quick hands cutout ball over the top required (like last trialS try Doueihi Set up) . I love Thommo but he has never done that . That’s the difference . It’s not a man crush .

Doueihi had no part in those tries.

The nrl and fox league do their stats so differently it’s confusing. Their version of a try assist is completely different to the NRL’s. That’s Nofzillas stats, NRL have him at about 220 metres.

He’ll be good for us this year. Not sure why people are expecting him to be a star player he’s never been that kind of player, he is very reliable and consistent and has good playmaking abilities. The more he plays the better he will get.

Sure I was a knocker when I saw that "stat" but then I realised that he'd been carrying the oranges most of the time. In other words Douhicky wasn't given the opportunity in one position cos he was always filling in for others. From what I've seen thus far I'm very confident that he will be a star. Maybe not Super but better than Silver. I'm kidding - I actually think he will be better than Teddy. He is a walking Adonis - just needs to link with Brutus Leilua!

Lol - i have no idea how old you are but you seriously need to grow up - its just a game and a trial one at that. And for what its worth Douehi didn't set the world on fire but he didn't make any mistakes and that was his first serious hit out with the top side. Lets wait and judge the guy half way through the season.
