How can people be bagging joey literally the only dude that matched them with aggression. You know there is an issue when your centre pushes your forwards out of the way because they are going backwards

Lol, everyone including the commentators say that Benji was hard done and yet you persist. If you think Benji was the problem you should watch a bit more NRL.

You keep on defending Benji but he was terrible.He did one good kick and the rest of his game was bilge.I have been an avid supporter since blokes like Raper Beetson Barnes and Kelly were playing so i would say i have watched enough rugby league not just NRL to know what i am talking about.
If you think Ginane and Anasta are good judges it explains a lot

You genuinely think that was a high tackle that deserved a penalty? Yes or no?

Off course it wasnt a high tackle i am not judging Benji on that but apart from his kick for Nofos try do you honestly believe he played well?His first movement is always sideways and cramps his outside players for room and pulls the defence onto them.It is not good enough,i have appreciated all he has done for the club over the years but his last 2 years have been very poor

Why are people blasting Benji? Did you not see our forwards absolutely out classed? It's like the old days, small forwards except we don't have the speed we used to. Tommy was our worst player clearly. Surely you can't say anyone was worse than Tommy?

They are probably bagging him because of his woeful defence, hospital passes and pathetic 5th tackle options? Just a thought

What other options does he have. What players do we have giving him options? I just think even if we had an amazing half it will be hard to do much with our forward pack. Just totally different league to the Panthers pack. I don't disagree with you I guess it's pretty much our entire roster that's the problem haha. It's not like one player cost us.

Yeah our fwds got chewed up and spat out. There defensive line was covering the 10 mtrs quicker than our pigs were running up. Slow, fat & unfit

Panthers are where we will be in 2 years . We have outstanding talent that requires nuturing. The core of our team Mikaele, Liddle, McIntyre, Teal, Blore, Garner, Brooks Doueihi, Nofoaluma, Lillia, J ,Talau all need to be retained. Build around them.

If that deserved a penalty, then they may as well start wearing dresses.

Coincidentally we were playing very well up to that point. Momentum changed immediately.

The first 20 minutes clearly demonstrated that were out outmatched in skill, speed and size.

The effort was there so can't understand some complaints.
I think we were playing catch up footy from the moment Luai went over and after Doueihi's send off, it only added to the already big defensive job we had .
Refereeing was poor as piss!!!

Grant, Twal, ET, McIntyre and probably a couple more I can't think of should be lauded for their defence. Also felt Mbye and Nofoaluma were great in attack for us.
While Twal, Mikaele and ET had a couple of good runs, we were really lacking any punch.

Benji wasn't as bad as some are saying and Grant being knackered meant he couldn't offer what he usually does - plus he's been out of the game a few weeks so it's understandable IMO.
Mbye in the halves???
Watching him tonight made me think we may be playing him in the wrong position.

Panthers also showed how weak they are to be so dependent on the refs.

We needed to be playing flat on the line ,,,we tried to play with depth and Penrith picked us off because we don't have the speed to get on our oppositions outside
