We have basically the same squad less Keefy ,Farah and Taupau

They say you need to improve by 10% every season to keep up

I have no confirmation that Robbie and Taupau are actually gone. I don't believe you have to improve by 10% per year. I don't see it like that.

Still we just need to win games. We can't have another dud coaching performance and hopefully we have the players to give next year a good shot.

im not for or against rothy but i will say hes only reporting what everyone in the know has been saying for a while now…. it only got louder after the great JT thought he played a check mate move on robbie - only to realize he was actually playing marbles....

the facts are - the 2 joint venture head honchos dont just disagree.... they dont like each other and have been maneuvering behind closed doors for sometime.

JT, balmain development failure, player unrest, tigers inability to raise $$$$, etc etc .....

and just when you thought you could have a off season to breathe and dream about how next year will be better......

But Parra aren't local so they aren't acclimatised. They are 'NT' in name only and are subject to the climate same as any other team.
I watched the Chooks play the Cowboys at Marrarra a few years back. Being from FNQ the Cowboys weren't bothered by the climate. The Chooks were off their feet by half time and the Cowboys beat them easily. Anasta worked up a sweat that day.

i think had they not got the development approval they may have in fact been done and dusted.
And no-one can deny the team had a great year this year.
those 2 things alone - from my point of view - saved their back sides in a major way.
