There is a hell of a lot of truth in that. Time to move on from the foundation clubs, we are the Wests Tigers.

Why we havent moved 100% to Campbelltown and claimed the fastest growing region in Sydney as our own has me gobsmacked.
To appease the otherside the Pie gets dropped from the sleeve and then we grow from that as the Wests Tigers. Sydney newest Rugby League club. We own it.

Do we honestly think that when the time comes to cut Sydney sides we arent the 1st one up?
The drugged up alcoholic Ch9 favourite Fittler is already preparing his arguments to ditch/move us.

We have to make ourselves important to the league and infighting between the 2 halves and always looking backwards isnt going to help.
Our fans have been through enough for this league.

What infighting?
Leichhardt still holds its own. I’m not convinced like others here that multiple ovals is a hindrance. Players play where they are told they are playing, no problems.
I think we are looking at the new Liverpool development as another home ground.
Winning solves all these issues and that’s what the club is working on.

No infighting? Every time a decision is made based off the back off either original club the other side arcs up.

We haven't made finals in a decade almost. Would say that confirms its a hinderance. It would also take away a lot of the arguments that we dont have a home as such (The Den, The Nest, Bankwest).

I love the Den its holy ground, but will it ever get the upgrades it needs desperately? doubtful.
The Nest is getting more upgrades due to the Bulls soccer team coming in.

All our home games at Campbelltown with a back to Balmain game against say Souths.

Macarthur is our future or we become an easy target for another merger, move or just death.

The Balmain side of the JV has a very small % of the ownership so has very little say in anything these days, so without a voice there is no infighting.
You are going back some years to say that imo.

We haven’t made finals for some time because we haven’t had the team or the management to get us there, that has/is changing. I do agree it is far to long between success but I don’t see playing grounds as one of them.

I hate to say this but I just don’t see it. With HQ at Concord and the new COE at Concord I think we need to accept the fact that the club is an inner city club. It’s the original location of the foundation clubs. It’s the location of Wests Ashfield and any club built at Rozelle. I think it’s time to accept this reality. Wests Tigers are not moving to Campbelltown. Wests Tigers are an inner city club.

Media show otherwise. We are the most dislike club in Sydney by the media. Hell probably the league.

We dared to give the League world the finger and didnt roll over and be taken over by the Worms (Balmain) or the Poundpups (Pies) back in 1999 to fit the narrative the League and media had prepared,.

You're one of the few on here that have seen the light and are looking to secure the future of Wests Tigers.
There's no doubt about it, we are a bloomin hotch- potch of a Club scattered around Sydney.
I suggested early in my time here on Our Forum, instead of the NRL re-locating Us to Perth (for example) and becoming the West(s) Australian Tigers, We should if feasible accept re-location $$$$ on offer and re-locate to Campbelltown.
Those $$$$ can then be used to pay Wests Ashfield to relinquish ownership of Wests Tigers.
We then move to the fastest growing area in Greater Sydney, which by the way will very soon have a population equivalent to that of Adelaide according to ABC Grandstand.
Both Soccer and AFL have had the guts to set up teams in that area with zero ready made supporters....why can't Wests Tigers!?
Let me be very clear on this as I don't want to be wrongly accused again of a Wests Magpies bias.
Yes, as You said Scomez, I was also broken hearted in 1963 and again in 1999, but Our Team is now Wests Tigers and I believe We will always be known as Wests Tigers....but I hope and pray the Magpie is Never deleted from the shoulder of Our jersey.
That is imo...."who we are".

and that is the hard part. All well and good to expect one side of the merger to give something up but you have to be willing to do the same.

Well now the agenda is being run by others ... maybe a stadium in Liverpool for Dogs and Tigers .. the club has painted itself into a corner with the indecision of playing out of multiple grounds . Being nomadic just leaves you open to being pushed into something you do not want . Other clubs are getting upgrades to there home grounds it is time our club finally picks and sticks or the continued kicking the club around will continue.

Suppose you threw your grandparents away as well.

Balmain Tigers and Wests Magpies are gone and arent coming back, no matter how much we want them to. So not a like for like comparison.

Disagree - SW do not want us, why would we waste our time and effort.

If we win games our membership is 20,000 if we win games it will be even bigger than 2005.
The NRL probably want a tigers in the semis we are marketable, if we make the semis we start getting positive articles in media.
I dont mind three grounds but would rather substitute ANZ for Bankwest keep some games at LO and CSS

COE is Concord we have West Ashfield as majority owners agree with others we are an inner city club with benefit of St Gregs and West as a nursey.
I think either the new SFS or ANZ look good for us with a back to CSS game against Manly and back to LO game against Souths each year would be good

We ain't going anywhere. That's a fact.
