I'm applying some security updates to the server this morning.
The site will appear down temporarily; it will only last a few minutes as the server reboots.
 
just a question, back on the old site there was a thread which was pinned to the west tigers sections, about our draw for the 2019 season, is that still on here?
 
One question though @Kul in another thread you touched on the quoting on the new forum. That the new forum could only quote one pot at a time. Are these issues close to being fixed? Its quite hard to follow threads when you can't see what people are replying to, and i'd guess more than half of all posts are replies to other posts. I've never seen a forum that couldn't quote at least 4-5 posts at one time. Hopefully it's sorted soon. Cheers
 
I've been adapting to this new format and I'm starting to become a fan. The ability to mute threads that you aren't interested in is gold.
 
Nope not a fan.
Jumps all over the place on my iphone and a 2 second delay when typing.

Why do I need things like adblocker when this is the ONLY site giving me grief.
 
Really dont like this format at all. Guess I'll have to suck it up, but I thought that the old one was working just fine. This one keeps jumping around and I'm continually scrolling back up to get back the the post I was reading. Seems like change for change sake. Maybe I'll get my head around it. But at this point, kind of down re- the change.
 
Yeah, thought it might be just me, but seems I am not the only one having to regularly scroll back up the page.
 
Prefer the old myself - new probably has many advantages, can't seem to find many that help me.

Scrolling is a pain and at least 40% of the time when I go back to a thread it does not take me back to where I left off, pain.

Oh! well, Russ - suck it up I guess - it is just like the NRL, it's changed but not as good as before.
 
The site jumps around. I’m on a iPhone X and when you scroll and let go of scrolling it jumps to a random spot. You have to scroll constantly on the new site so it is really painful.
Happy to record and send.
It is unusable and my time is way down, but the wife is happy.
 
Hey guys, I've experienced that jumpy thing on the phone too. Not all the time, but it does happen.

Please bear with me while I work on it; i'm currently travelling for work so it's been hard to sit down and get to the bottom of this.
 
No drama @Kul, just letting you know. Like others, would have been happier using the old format, but only up until a busy match day when we will all be glad that it no longer crashes because of host limitations.
 
Have we lost the foe block function? I was enjoying not having to read the far right religious ramblings in the politics thread.

No, there's something even better. It's called "Mute"

You can mute people or even specific threads/topics
 
I want to preface this by saying I would have no chance of doing any better and appreciate the efforts that kul and the guys go to in maintaining and providing this forum…..But....this change is not good. Navigation around the site is difficult to say the least. The amount of pop up ads is crazy. I used to check everyday but now my favorite forum is in the too hard basket. I don't mind change if its intuitive and makes the experience better but this has gone backwards. I visit a lot of different forums for a host of differnt things and this is by far the worst. It shouldnt need a manual to describe how to use a forum. Trying to access from a IOS device is near on impossible. Again, appreciate the effort but not everything can be a 40/20\. I think this was out on the full.
 
I have long avoided using my iPad on here, but did you notice the @Kul post nothing that he was working on fixing a bug and to use in landscape position on those devices?
