I had a Holden Cruze, worst car I have ever owned. Gearbox dead, ignition coils replaced twice, thermostat replaced, computer died. Complete piece of rubbish.

Went back to a Toyota Aurion and no problems since.

Not a fan of the D-Max? I think the new ones look good and reviews have been positive...

Yeah all comes down to feel and what you want in a car tbh
I’ve heard some people say the same as you and others say the opposite

What didn't you like? Is it hesitant and constantly shifting? Pretty happy with the 7speed DSG in my Octavia RS.

The Cruze was definitely a slug, but cost as much in repairs as I paid for it in the 3 years I owned it. In the end I traded it in, was intermittently blowing huge plumes of smoke, started blowing when I drove it into the dealer for the trade-in. Took the cash and ran for the hills when he offered me $500 trade in without starting the engine.

My mates sister bought a Stinger so we sort of stole it for 1/2 hour to get food ?
Yeah .. always constantly shifting..
In Drive 1st gear goes for around 15 meters if that .
It didn’t like to hold the gears for too long either in paddle shift mode before the electronics said no .

r u happy with your Aurion,

Have had a Citroen Picasso for 7 years. Had 2x Chryslers Voyagers before that. With 4 kids the space is appreciated. Have had Holdens, Fords and Toyotas which all were good but the Citroen twin turbo 2 litre 7 seater is without a doubt the best. Half a tank from Sydney to Yamba $35.00. Sad it has been discontinued in Oz as we were about to buy another one. Couldn't believe how many Picassos were in the UK and France(obviously) on a trip in 2017 and 2019. About to buy a new Transporter or Multivan. Hopefully they will be as good as the Citroen.

Currently worth the same amount as what I payed brand new a few years ago hahaha.
Have had a few offers recently from randoms whilst filling up at the petrol station lol...
