You really must be getting sick of repeating Grade 5 :brick:

I drive a Honda Jazz 2003 auto… I hate Auto's but have to teach people how to drive... Great car, auto is a CVT transmission which means you have to look after it... It also means near Hybrid fuel economy, slower starts but no "thunk" as Auto's do with their gear changes. I testdrove a Mazda 6 and was so SO Sad, it was worse then my Jazz and my old Camry (other then that a good looking car).

Why Honda? I had a grey Honda Civic 1990ish... Best and most fun car ever. Ford Wheels and a wire in the Racing car steering wheel that we just press on some metal to make a Horn sound. Later put a Mazda horn in for it to pass Rego. Could not kill it including leaving radiator cap off car! Car later died of Rust... So sad. ...

Replaced it with another 1990's Honda Civic. Such a good car, sadly doing 500K+ daily (my dad borrowed it. He killed a Mitsubishi van driving the same workload after 3 or less months.. Civic lasted longer) and car was already clocking over 350,000 it did die. Mechanic said New Transmission and New engine so i said take it away...... Later saw the same car driving around Bankstown, same number plate same Apple stickers. Someone put a new [This word has been automatically removed] and engine in it and it kept going.

Full admiration for Camry/Corolla's (my brothers Corolla Station wagon did 500k no issues). They rock as cars.

Next car will probably be a hybrid or a tesla (i will upgrade in 4-5 years time). Hope these petrol burners DIE DIE DIE.

I get a company car turned over every 12 months or so. Was driving a Peugeot 508 - beautiful car!! Now a Nissan X-Trail 4WD. Dream car - Jaguar old style

2012 Falcon XR6\. Was the only non SUV that you could put 3 car seats in the back of.
Next one will be a 7 seater. Thinking of Outlander, but open to suggestions

That would be the top end of the scale. I never buy new cars. Demos and new used cars save you a fortune

A red Toyota Aurion Sportivo 2016

If I had the money and the infrastructure was thereI would get a Tesla.

Looks like half of us are in Granny busters

Apart from those having a mid life crisis (Yes Hobbo you  )

It's a shame your wife has you under the thumb and your unable to have a midlife crisis and purchase a 4WD and a new boat .

Imagine the laughs , yourself , Geo and me could have drinking and fishing !

Oh well

2000 Mazda 626 - wife has three ruptured discs and cannot drive anything else as the seats slope to much for her back. If she isn't driving she has to sit in the back.

I reckon if it gets you from A to B in one piece …who cares what the bloody things called...

You mean an environmental disaster of a rust bucket TT, something the EPA take photos of and send round the world

I bought a new commodore in 2009 when Rudd introduced the small business tax break on new car purchases. Still have it and is now due for a 45k service.

Although its like new I'm sweating on another tax break for new cars or a driverless car to come on the market. Otherwise I just keep the commodore till it dies.

Dream car is definitely a driverless car.

I drive a LEMON.

2002 Mazda Tribute - really a Ford Escape. I get 5km/litre or 20l per 100km. The SUV is dangerous from new with multiple problems and should have been recalled and the money given back to the poor suckers who bought them. Reason I have it my back went and I found it too hard to get in and out of a car so I bought a cheap 2nd hand SUV. Now I know why it was cheap! Spent about two grand getting it reliable but could spend another ten and would still be a LEMON!

I don't know if this helps Russ , but one of the reasons the Mrs liked the IX 35 was because it was more upright for her back after her back surgery
