What Car do you Drive..?

I have an old rodeo tonner for trips to and from work and hauling junk about.
A 2014 Colorado for towing the caravan and carting kids around.
Weekend car is a HZ Kingswood Wagon with a fairly wild 355 stroker. If I baby the shit out of it I can get about 25L to the hundred! And it's still more efficient than an electric car!

We are a two car family. Family car is the Kluger. The second car is a manual 2001 Subaru Liberty. I’ve kept it for my two daughters to learn to drive on. It’s just over 16 yrs old and has never broken down. It’s been a really good car but if they prang it I won’t be upset either . It AWD has air bags had the 5 Star safety rating and was voted car of the year back in its day.
My eldest has her L’s and has been going quite well in it. The main thing I wanted to teach them is how to use yours gears before going into corners or down steep roads .

The family is giving my boy the late Mother in Laws Hyundai Getz

Still a couple of years until he can get his licence but a nice touch for his birthday

The kids call it the canary and it has tweety bird seat covers

After our performance on the Friday and our season on life support I decided to take a break from the footy for the weekend and made a trip up the coast to and get my project back down to where I am living. Needs a fair bit of work but with our season almost gone I will have the time to get it back on the road…. :bash

Its a Narooma blue 01 AU2 manual XR8 with the 220 engine. Before I put it in storage I rebuilt the brakes and replaced all the IRS bushes in the suspension. Engine seems pretty good but paint needs to be brought back to life with some TLC. Had the car since 03 but has spent most of its life in sheds. Here is a pic when I picked it up from the farm over the weekend... very dusty...

This thread is perfect timing! We are looking to buy a new car - just had a new Bub.

Looking for a midsize SUV- looking at either the 162kw vw Tiguan r line,or the 110kw discovery sport. Any others we should consider in the 55-66k range?

Also looked at the jag e pace, problem with the jag and discovery is once you add extras the price rockets out of budget - without the options the are quite a basic car

Not really up to date with the current SUV's but I was reading about the Ford Endura SUV coming out here soon. I think the base model is predicted to be around 50k so you would have room for options…might be worth a look. Only thing I would want to be sure on is the engine, the US version is very quick and has a petrol v6 but have read that aussie might be a diesel..

We should organise a Wests Tigers Forum cruise at the end of the season

We can all drive our cars off a cliff …

Happy and Geo can go first in their GOGO mobile !

What a stupid paint job …..

The old E - type Jag ...
About as reliable as the West’s Tigers forward pack

Maybe that’s Geo’s pimp mobile ?

If the Mrs doesn't let me buy a 4wd next car , it will be a CX 9

Then again after promising me a 4wd next car , she can pack her bags if she changes her mind :imp:
