Non football related thread?

For me;

- Shift to end, smooth drive home with minimal red lights, getting home and taking my shoes and socks off.

- Waking up on a day off, knowing I can relax and get things done around the house.

- Seeing my girlfriend, dog and cats and having a good meal (tacos) and watching a movie in the evening.

Waking up ….it's always a bonus
Real coffee ( a must )

Getting home from work and having a muck around with the kids !

My girlfriend and i are pretty introverted, so it's usually spending a lot of time at home on weekends when we aren't usually working. We'll usually work out something cool to cook on a Friday night and we'll either do a movie or footy.

Then Saturday and Sunday is one long chill session. Don't do much, just watch the footy and have a bet.

- Going to the gym / working out …. having a shower afterwards.

- Clean sheets on the bed.

- When something I ordered online arrives in the mail.

- Getting paid - now a fortnightly thing through work but loving see the healthy figure in the account before bills get paid.

- Finishing things off at work. A good part of my job entails going back to things repeatedly for revision or defects.

- Walking out of the office. I enjoy my job and work with a good bunch of people but it's always nice leave.

- Get home to the wife, boy and dog. Kiddo beams from ear to ear everyday when he sees me walk in. It is the greatest feeling in the world.

- Not having any heart episodes.

I look forward to going away for relaxing holidays… Lying on a beach doing nothing but swim is perfect

Gym /workout after work when not too knackered

Sleeping in on a day off

catching the big waves for big rides and even getting smashed out there with my son if he is up from Sydney. Having amazing parties with my wife and friends. PLaying fantastic difficult chess. Joking with political mates around town that highly respect.

no offense to anyone, but i honestly hope im not the sort of person who looks forward to end of work. i've always seen myself as a workaholic and like doing long shifts if they pay nice haha. but who knows how bored i'd be in 5 years.

i look forward to going on joy rides with mates, playing cricket/footy/soccer with mates at times. the weekend is different each week, one week i might do a 20 hour work weekend, the next weekend i might not even be home all weekend. plenty of 21sts recently.

i always and everyday look forward to a good meal. i like having one big meal a day and then opening bowels (Harvey) straight after for about 20 minutes (i eat curry a lot) on the loo with the phone. this "me-time" is probably the thing that never disappoints. no matter what's happening outside, these 20-25 minutes feel amazing.

Days off.( Spend lazing about or getting things done.)
Date night with the love of my life. ( Once a fortnight)
Going to WT games. ( Not often enough) :frowning:
Breakfast in bed. ( Once a week if I'm lucky)
Playing soccer with my work sisters. (We won the GF last year)
Riding my motor bike.
Mucking about and having fun with the kids.(A lot)
Life…

Nothing better than getting out of work and going home to the family. As soon as i walk in the door my son grabs the footy and says 'dad, can we have a quick game'. Annoys the hell out of the wife but we love it. Then on weekends seeing him out there playing whatever sport it may be with his mates. These are the things that make life great.

Tie off.

Barefeet.

Noisy cuddles punctuated by giggles.

Quiet Cuddles punctuated by silence.

.

You've got enough kids UD , stop the quiet cuddles

Fishing when I can with the family , usually has me running around like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest but it is well worth it

I really miss my golf 😢

Watching my kids do what they love ,sport , dancing ,singing ,everything

Nagging my Mrs , she can't usually tell when I'm serious or joking

Occasional punt

Your girlfriend sounds like a keeper GNR

Cooking, movies, footy and chilling. Couldn't ask for much more than that
