What had happened to this place?

This use to be a peaceful social forum full of insight and interesting debates.

If you listened closely you could pick up the occasional insider tip.

Now it is overrun by either Trolls or Big-shot know it all’s.

We are all fans of this great club.
We do love the club and in most cases are mystified by the moves currently made by management, coaches and players, most agree that change is necessary and the debate brings out all facets of the topic.

But please play the ball not the man.

A lot of people who have supplied inside info get screamed down for getting some player / fact wrong occasionally .....

Who are the big shot know it alls and Trolls .....if you don't agree with someone's actions ...put them on foe

It's hard ...none of us want to be negative .......And I'm as bad as the next ...but I'm sick of this club and how they drive us further and further into the swamp .....I will love this club until they die or I die ......but I have more and more days where I honestly wish they just kicked us out ...because I can't see anything ever improving ...does anyone see us winning a premiership in the next 20 years ......I'll be amazed if we make the 8 three times in the next 20 years

But this is also a problem ...many don't want to see our club like this and even point blank refuse to see the problems we have ....

Thw whole current coaching situation for example ...many blame the coaches .......

Many of you are in lockdown so you may have some spare time .......

So do this for me if you wish and you will get a lot of the answers to your WT's questions

Put every club's top 17 on paper .....and then HONESTLY place WT's players ranked in position against everyone else .....

Done it a few times ..once even on here a few seasons ago .....we finished 14th from memory when I did it

The ROSTER is the problem ....as Ripley used to say "Believe it or Not "

We aren't a Top 8 roster and we aren't even close ..and we can't attract anyone .....where we go from here ...only God knows .....

How does one add people to foe? Is that simply 'block user'? I thought there used to be more options but perhaps in recent updates this functionality has changed

Its like an amateur club playing in a professional competition.

It's a big stretch to call the NRL and the way it operates 'professional'. It's run worse than a chook raffle and reeks of bias and inconsistency. As a code it is a laughing stock and rightfully so.

Our club is run several levels below even that mark sadly.

It's a good thing AFL is a terrible product.

For sure. At it's best NRL is a magnificent spectacle, IMO much better than any other sport. It's just a shame the imbeciles in charge of the game are seemingly so corrupt and biased.
If there was another sport that was as good as our game I probably would of given up watching the NRL year ago, but there's not: most other sports are overrated garbage, EPL soccer being exhibit A.

Unfortunately it is the result of 10 years of utter failure. Additionally, the club has been around for 22 seasons and failed to make the finals 19 times. It takes a toll on supporters, especially those seeking change.

And to the supporters is certainly does not look like the club is trying anything at all to get the club out of the awful rut it has been, and still is in. Surely the club could communicate something to it's supporters to show them that they are doing something, i.e. signing players or even intent to sign certain players before the next pre-season training sessions begin.

All the supporters are currently getting is silly information from outside source.

The club can't tell you which players it is looking to sign.

15 years ago this was the best fan forum in the NRL...over time, particularly the last 5-8 years "regulars" have moved on and the site has lost what it once had....there are still a few of us "old heads" still around even if under a different handle name.

Cheers mate, I say it how I see it which isn't always well received. Enjoy reading your posts as well and always seem to see both sides to any argument.

I always generally see the good in people and the good in bad situations, current predicament with the Tigers team I love is no different. I'd like to think I have an above average understanding of the game and what it takes to be successful so sharing that dribble/wisdom with likeminded individuals is a bit of fun.

Absolutely right and the way forward is through the juniors. It will take time and it might even get worse before the on field results come.
