What is a pass against the Storm

Do we need to win, Be competitive? If a pass mark is being competitive how many points do we have to get within. I'd just like some clarification as there's been a lot of moving of the goal posts lately, that now that we've been winning, some think it isn't enough and have to find excuses for our recent success. Some say it's because the teams we've beaten have had players out, others are saying its because there are other teams struggling. So let's put it out there right now on record for just what is an acceptable result on Sunday.

Complete sets, defend well, kick for field position, no piss away possession on their line early in the tackle count, smart fifth tackle plays.

If we do all that right and don't come away with the biscuits I'll still be happy. Sometimes you can do everything right and the opposition is just better.

If we outdefend Melbourne we will win

A 2009 v Melbourne at Leichardt type performance is what we need

Beat them at their game , keep them to single digits

Ensure the 1% plays get done. Important to complete above 80% of sets and defend well. Melbourne love the grind and do it well on the back of a very good kicking game. It's vital we match them in the middle if Brooks and Moses are to be any chance of stamping their authority on the game.

If we get beaten but have displayed more improvement within the whole team, and that is,completion rates, ball handling and very good communication, and the loss is not a hiding, then that will help the team build more confidence…dont forget many good teams playing very well have been beaten by the Storm on their home ground..

NSW looked like beating Queensland with 12 minutes to go last Wednesday. Was that a pass mark - No.

Thanks for reminding me, and no it was not a pass mark.

Considering we lost in golden point to them last time and are playing much better since then I'd say a win will be a pass mark.

I agree
I want them to play for 80 and be in the game for 80
