If you made up a ladder since the Raiders we'd be 5th or 6th. The 6 game losing streak will be what killed our season, plus the loss to the Titans. There's been so much improvement over the last 4 months. We haven't been this consistent in years.

All things being equal, I doubt anyone would need to worry about admitting that - we'll be in the 8 next season.

No not for me.
Can't say I know 1st hand, but as an outsider looking in…..

# has handled the Farah situation terribly.
# No accountability in players performance.
# failed to fix a defensive issue that he said was his 1st priority when he 1st came here. We are nearly the worst.
# Making us think his picking the best 17.
# players playing out of position.
# Poor game plans.

I think the Club will confide in players such as Teddy, Moses, Woods, Sue, Lawrence etc...... for there opinions and thoughts with Jason Taylor's Coaching future, with many of these players coming off contract next year.....I'm sure they will have a big say.

Also we defeated understrength sides such as Broncos, Parra, Dragons ( well there poor anyway)....these 3 wins has helped us give us a fake illusion that we are going better than what we are, yes you can only beat what's in front of you.
Next year will be his last chance there is no doubt.

So we could get decimated with injuries next year, but "JT supporters" should be expected to change their opinions, but a top 8 finish wouldn't be enough in his detractors eyes? There isn't much of a balance there is there.

Well, what is your opinion of Pascoe and co's role in this? If Paul Green dropped Thurston do you think Cowboys management would stand back and allow it. Me personally, i don't think they'd allow that much of the cap being wasted if they didn't at the very least support JT.

mate - my opinion is that anyone and everyone that has played a part in this mess are all equally to blame.

The coach, the player, the club - all of them !

regardless of whose side you sit on, that much of the cap, a player who is still the best option in that position and still amongst the the top 17 players in the club - they all needed to come together and make it work, or pay him out once and for all and be done with it

they have all played a hand in allowing this to simmer for the entire season

taylor did much better than bottom 4 he brilliantly coached us to finish on level points with the wooden spooner

Can't say we'd definitely be in the bottom 4 but bringing in a new coach with less than a 50% winning strike rate and starting over probably isn't a good start.
