What players have you met, who's nice, who's not

Lets start with 2006 when I met Tim Sheens, Scott Prince, Benji Marshall, Ryan O'Hara and Robbie Farah all fantastic people to talk to.

The best was last year in mid 2011 when I met the entire NSW Squad!

Luke Lewis, Mark Gasnier, Anthony Minichiello were all dead set champions. I will never forget what I said to Mini!

Me: "Mini there are rumours on the internet that you are retiring at the end of 2011".

Mini: "Why would I be retiring at the end year?"

Me: "To live your dream by returning to Sesame Street!"

Mini - Cracks up big time. :roll

Scott Prince ended up attending post match pressos in 06 (when he could be bothered) with a couple of meathead minders in tow…never laughed so hard!!!

Luke Covell is back playing for his old junior team Murwillumbah Mustangs for the last year.

All class, goes out of his way to drum up sponsorship, its like he never left.

He cops a fair bit of shit from the away crowds if he misses a conversion or makes an error, but he never bites or blows up, he just gets on with the game and shrugs it off.

He is killing it as a 2nd rower too.

Sonny Bill Williams- Cool guy met him at footy training (day he left to france) he seemed relaxed he was with his manager

Willie Mason: The whole school was around him no space to talk or walk

benji, Farrah, and the coach at the time- i was 7 so dont remember much

Sonny Bill is a tool - he asked my cousin for her number at Norwest Shops - mind you she's 18\. She told me he was pretty nice up until he dropped the "do you know who I am line". She then said no, and he went on a 5 minute rant on who he is and what he's done. She then said well why don't you give me your number and I might call you hahaha

Met most of the Newcastle players as i was a night manager in a bar in Newie between 07'-10' Met about 15 of the players as they would all frequent to play poker during the week. The nicest guys were Wes Naiqama (the only one that didnt drink) and Danny Wicks who was always shouting the regulars and tipped the bar staff pretty good. Most of the players were ok to have a chat with at the bar. The biggest tosser was Junier Sau? (not sure spelling) the Kiwi centre. Just a prick of a bloke, always rude and would yell out for table service and then just want a glass of water. I took great pleasure in chucking him out a couple of times.

Jason Moodie would come in regularly and was always good for a laugh as after a few drinks would start to hit on my bar girls (all in good fun).

Being from Newcastle (a fish bowl) its pretty easy to met the players as they do hang out in certain watering holes and most of the locals know where. if you wanna met them most are approachable. In the late 90's early 00's you could see most of the guys (Johns bros. Chief etc) hanging out at places like "The Brewery" which used to be an ok place to drink at, not sure these days.

Ive met most of the Tigers players at games but just a quick "wasup" no real conversations like ive had with the Newie boys. All the Tigers players (Benji, Robbie, Rhino, Gibbsy, Fults etc etc) were happy to say a G'day.

being on the glitter strip i had the chance to meet all the titans last year at carties morning tea.In 2008 i think i waited on the nz rugby league team that had benji, blair and halatau at my work.A few weeks ago met idris, prince and bedene at love nightclub and they were happy to pose for pix and have a chat
