Yeah me too

Heart Shaped Box and Lithuim are my faves but that album 'nevermind' was a hit…i was into the grunge music back then

Ditto. 3 chord guitar never sounded so good!

Moving forwards though, Julien-K is a pretty cool band:

I have never heard of that band but they are pretty cool, when i first started listening to it reminded me a little of Savage Garden's TO THE MOON AND BACK…but a real upbeat version of the song

In Utero was a pretty under-rated album and often gets over-shadowed by Nevermind

i think heart shaped box was from that album…

The best cover version i have seen of Lithuim was from a chick called dilana, she has or had such a strong voice, don't know what really happened to her after that whole reality show...

i didn't like her, she realy started to develop an ego by the end of that series. Heart Shaped Box was off In Utero

ohhh i loved her, i thought the dude who eventually won the position a total pain in the butt and so whiny…and well i mean he didn't prove to be that hot because where are supanova now?

and i mean she put a whole new spin on johnny cash's RING OF FIRE...

Speaking of Nirvana, It was the 20th anniversary of Nevermind a couple of days ago. As part of the celebrations they've released a digitally remastered super deluxe version of Nevermind (4CD's and DVD). Any vinyl fans can get their hands on a 4LP box set too. This will be hot collectors items for any die hard fans out there.

Yeah they had this special on sunday on MTV, showcasing that whole album and then a doco on the days leading up to his death after it…makes you wonder just how big he would have been if he didn't die so tragically...his music showcased the confusion of his state of mind and that always makes a great receipe for remarkable songs to blossom...

Just stared new audiobook as I ride the 7;54 into town. A storm of swords by George r r Martin.

My understanding was that he was going to do some compilation stuff with Michael Stipe from REM and was truly excited about that
Yeah a true shame but how many artists and actors could we say that about in the last 40 years
Jim Morrison Janis Joplin Jimi Hendrix Brian Jones John Lennon Heath Ledger JOK Amy Winehouse and dare I say it Michael Jackson the list goes on and on and on ….........

Yeap almost mentioned that when I made the comment GNR Wasn't exactly sure who had though
Obviously Jackson and JOK off that list Wasn't sure about Brian Jones though
Would of given a major organ to see The Doors Live

Brian Jones was 27\. Me too, at their best, there probably wouldn't be another band alive who could touch The Doors at their best live

Talking of the Doors was listening to Michael Buble talking about Jim Morrison
He said that Morrison was the best crooner he had heard since Sinatra
I personally had nevered considered him a crooner but when he played a few songs like Crystal Ship and the like you can see why
