No idea what these corporate names refer to. I look forward to a time where we don't play at venues that change their names frequently.Anywhere is better than CommBank Stadium.
I love the New Jersey sponsor... ( I might be somewhat Biased).Interesting... Looks like he's dumped sponsoring the NSW Blues to chip in for 2GB
Blues now sponsored by westpac.... Jerseys are ugly
Different people in charge back thenSo why push them out in the first place?
Life experience?
Yeah it stumps me sometimes too.... Won't change anytime soon thoNo idea what these corporate names refer to. I look forward to a time where we don't play at venues that change their names frequently.
Yes, you’re right, it’s that simple. Most successful organisations don’t behave in the way we do. A change of a key employee tends to be a catalyst for “heading in a different direction” followed by more hiring and firing, and so it goes on. We again forget what the common goal is which originally brought us together. Will signing a few good footy players solve this problem?Different people in charge back then
It probably makes tickets 10-20% cheaper. I still refer to it as Parramatta, Olympic park, moore park etc.No idea what these corporate names refer to. I look forward to a time where we don't play at venues that change their names frequently.
Ha ha. 🙂Benji twice.
I suspect he put his hat in the ring for coach as a long game for revenge lol....
Don’t know why the location name used by the council can’t be retained with a sponsor name tacked on? Like, “Jim’s Mowing Leichhardt Oval.It probably makes tickets 10-20% cheaper. I still refer to it as Parramatta, Olympic park, moore park etc.
Yep we are living in a world where incidental branding, marketing and advertising is king. No one watches TV or listens to radio to go through Ads. Not many people look at billboards, flyers, posters etc. Big companies pay a premium price for naming rights and I'm fine with that as I believe it saves the consumers money in the long run.Don’t know why the location name used by the council can’t be retained with a sponsor name tacked on? I notice airports around the world are changing names, not saying the pilots would have trouble finding them, but I guess it’s because more airports are getting built? I thought Tokyo airport had gone off the map? Nope, just had a name change.
I notice on some YouTube adds you can elect to skip ads, sort of wonder why the companies pay for it. Probably the ones you can't skip are premium.Yep we are living in a world where incidental branding, marketing and advertising is king. No one watches TV or listens to radio to go through Ads. Hope the oval doesn’t disappear like Ludwig 😲I notice on some YouTube adds you can elect to skip ads, sort of wonder why the companies pay for it. Probably the ones you can't skip are premium.
Just for old time interest, did you know LO was named after Ludwig Leichhardt.
To get back on topic, making the top 4 will be a successful year 😉
Yes, it also seems ironic that people are willing to pay so as to not listen/watch ads.Yep we are living in a world where incidental branding, marketing and advertising is king. For YouTube? I think you have to pay premium to remove adds from them.I use an ad blocker and I never see ads.
